Everything was great except I booked the hotel for the heated pool. I called a head to make sure the pool was up and running prior to paying. I was in NJ for my Grandmother funeral and my kids Great Grandmother. I wanted the pool to take their minds off the funeral or at least ease it. I also wanted it to have something for the kids to do. The pool was open when I arrived by the time I went to Walmart and came back they closed the pool and told me it should be open tomorrow but it wasn’t because of chlorine levels or something and told me they updated me once open. I got a call later Friday saying the pool be closed until Monday and I booked Thursday - Monday. They offered me to extend my check out to swim on Monday glad I didn’t do that because it was still closed when I left. They offered me to take my kids to a sister hotel 30 min away from the hotel. I wish I could have just went to that hotel to stay since they had all the same luxury. The last offer was to refund me a full night so I took that offer, but my kids where still upset about the pool and I ended up spend triple to find activities for my kids to do to replace the pool. Yes there is a gym, but don’t want my kids in the way of someone’s work out and it’s not a playground or pool they could get seriously hurt. The breakfast options where great, cleanliness great, staff great, cleaning staff slow to respond, but still great.
