"Overall I enjoy this hotel and have stayed here a few times. This was my first poor experience with room availability. I reserved 2 queen beds, when I got to the property I was told my room “had a maintenance issue” and only King beds were available, with the understanding I could move to a 2 queen bed the following night. I attempted to move the next morning before heading out for the day and again no rooms were available. I asked to be texted with availability, that did not happen. I had a missed call from the hotel with no voicemail left. I did not have reception when that happened I suppose. I called back midday to verify my new room availability. I was told “yes you’re good to go, we’ll see you when you get back”. When I returned that evening the clerk was unable to access the 2 bed room. She told me she did not know how to change the room without charging me again. I told her (and showed her my bank statement receipt) she said it “was her third day”. She was courteous and professional but could not resolve the issue. I offered to continue to use the 1 bed room from the night prior. I was tired and just wanted a room. This was frustrating because I didn’t have access to a 2 bed room all Friday night and into Saturday for an additional guest. I had to change my plans, which was not ideal. Traveling is expensive and tiring, one should get what the pay for. The staff were pleasant but I feel The situation should have been brought to my attention prior to my arrival. "
"Front desk was quick and efficient. Staff around the hotel were welcoming and friendly. Only complaint that I have was we picked tow place due to knowing they have a nice breakfast spread and being that we were here for a baseball tournament, I wanted to make sure my son had a good breakfast. Well, they were out of eggs, egg sandwiches and there were no waffles. The employee informed me that the truck doesn't come until Tuesday but the manager is going out to find eggs. Honestly, while I appreciate the effort, it's the weekend and we shouldn't be waiting on truck that comes 2 days from now. Also she informed me she came late so she didn't get the waffles. Maybe she should not have said that at all. The oatmeal was not hot. Actually there was no oatmeal other than containers of instant. But there was toppings all day long. What am I using these toppings for?"
