Their pool was getting cleaned so I couldn't swim. That's a huge deal for me. I travel all over the country for work and I see a bunch of crappy things so I insist on a pool at every hotel I go to. They did not have one and it was still one of the best hotels I ever stayed at. The little lady at the front desk what's the most sweetest lady in the world. Housekeeping was phenomenal. I had a great big hot tub and a shower. And it did not break the bank. I'm a Solo traveler and I felt very safe. I would definitely recommend.

Was in town for a cycling event… Situated conveniently near the freeway. Check-in was smooth, and the customer service was friendly. There was plenty of parking available. The room was satisfactory, the area was quiet, and breakfast was included, although it could benefit from some remodeling due to rusted fixtures overall no complaints

Pleasant in Mt Pleasant for good value

Room was clean and comfy. staff friendly and helpful building is old and worn but price reflects that so it is worthwhile. I would return.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

Clean sheets and towels, comfortable bed, breakfast and value for price - all good. Needs remodeling and carpet deep cleaned. Friendly staff. Road noise from Route 30 is an issue for light sleepers.

It's location is convenient, breakfast could be better, lobby was clean but my room looked like they did a quick sweep and not a deep clean. It was ok either way , I just needed a place to sleep.

Just wished the pool was accessible. Breakfast wasn't much. But at the rate i paid for the room, i wasnt expected a loaded Breakfast. The staff that i encountered was very friendly and helpful.

Had to pay a security fee when I arrived, wasn’t too sure about that. Room was mostly clean, carpet was gross in a couple areas. Shower was hot with good pressure. Breakfast was actually not that bad, one of those waffle machines plus scrambled eggs and biscuits with gravy.

The first room we were given had a crack and flying ants kept getting in. One bit my 2 year old. The room was dirty and the ac didn’t work. The front desk person changed us to the room next door and it was clean and the ac was fine. The pool which is advertised when booking wasn’t open. The staff was attentive and overall great. The property not so much.

Economy price equals Economy room.

The price is low because they skimp on numerous things. Lots of rust on fittings, lamp shapes were busted. Bed was extremely hard. Pillows were non-existant. Every thing was clean though. Want a 5 star resort quality, pay the 5 star price. Breakfast at 9am was cold scoop of gravy and half scoop of eggs that had been there long enough to be cold. OJ was bitter and watery. Left without eating and threw away OJ after tasting.

The staff were very friendly and responsive, and the rooms were clean, but this property is extremely run down which made it feel dingy and dirty, even though it was not, and other guests were having loud parties and even fights. There was a glaringly bright security light right outside our window, which shone around our "blackout" drape and through the tear in it, as and example. I was glad I had my sleep eye mask. We didn't feel unsafe or in any way mistreated. It just wasn't the most comfortable experience.
