"Quiet, peaceful, clean, wonderful facilities that we wish we could have used more. Close enough to city to hit good restaurants, historic sights and entertainment, but far enough away to feel like you could escape the city when you wanted. "

"There’s not much parking close by. Rooms were clean staff acted as if they were bothered to let me in after 10 due to me sending my room key in with my wife and kids and finding a parking spot. No prior notice of having to have a key to get in after 10 p.m. Checking out 3 staff members were talking at the main desk and never acknowledged I was there, so I just walked off and helped myself to what was needed. "

"The only thing going for this hotel is its location and proximity to the beach and Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. We unfortunately booked on a weekend where several sports teams were staying and they created noise disturbances past 9 pm which made it hard to sleep. Furthermore, our room upon check in looked like it had not been cleaned or used in awhile. There was rust in the bottom of the dishwasher, stains on the bathroom wallpaper and brown sediment came out every time you turned the faucet on. We reported this twice to management and maintenance only to be told that they had replaced the boilers so that was why. We were not offered a discount on our room or a move to another room until late in the afternoon on Saturday and only got offered to move after I suggested it. But we were leaving Sunday morning and didn’t want to cancel our plans just to come back to the hotel and move our stuff. The manager never called to follow up with us after check out. Think carefully before booking here."
