"The front desk personnel were very friendly at both check-in and out. The housekeeping staff was prompt when I asked for extra towels and also very friendly. Breakfast had a very nice selection, which they continued to keep stocked. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The indoor pool was a perfect way to spend a rainy evening."

"Our stay was pretty good. The rooms were clean pretty much everything was clean. And the couch bed wasnt comfortable but the regular beds were. and the food was good. But the pool felt like it had an overload of chlorine in it and the hot tub was closed. Other than that everything was fine"

"Every staff member we encountered was very nice. Breakfast was well-stocked, coffee and tea always available. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked to be pretty nice. Location is good, within 20 minutes of anything to do in Erie. It could’ve been cleaner. Some of that is due to it appearing simply to be an older hotel in need of some renovation (new carpets, new furniture, a paint job to remove scuffs from the walls, etc.), which staff cannot help. Otherwise though, there were areas that could have been kept clean (ie. underneath desks and counters) that were a bit more ignored. If the cleanliness doesn’t bother you, it had everything else. Pool, exercise equipment, free breakfast, good location, friendly staff."

"This is our go to place in Erie. Can't be beat for the price. Clean, comfy, no frills. Nice pool, free hot breakfast, shopping and restaurants near by. Splurged and got the whirlpool tub this time. Nice to soak in after a long day."

"Nick's Place is like a secret in the community. This family-owned and run business is impeccably kept. The staff is outstanding. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The breakfast is a "make your own" event, where there is a big kitchen and various choices to put together for yourself. The hours of breakfast are reasonable for those trying to relax and not get up at sunrise to get something to eat! It is not an ordinary run of the mill hotel property. Attached mini golf course is available, and the location is convenient to Edinboro University. I highly recommend this lodging."
