"I was traveling alone and needed a place to decompress. I couldn't have picked a better hotel! The buildings, the grounds, and the rooms-everything is very well taken care of and beautiful. Flowers were everywhere and the pool area was always clean, stocked with towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas. The hotel staff were the kindest, most accomodating people-they truly took care of me and made me feel like they were watching out for my happiness and safety. John and Todd were always available, always smiling, always sociable and happy to help. The rooms were well-appointed, clean (a full length mirror would be the only thing I was missing) and beds comfortable. Between the many inside common areas and the pool, grass areas and front porch, there were numerous choices to sit, read, or converse with others. I've been to Manchester several times before, and always enjoyed it, but this will be my new go-to place to stay. I just loved every minute of it and can't say enough about the great people who work there. The location is great too! You can walk to restaurants, bars, shopping etc- anything you need in this great Vt town."
"Breakfast gets a 10 out of 10!! Love all the options and the yummy flavored waffle mix!!
Pool and hot tub were great!! I mean if all hot tubs can be that temp I would love it!!
While we enjoyed our stay there were a few hiccups. Not all of us could get on the WiFi. I did not like the lack of full service in the room. It is fine in general but we ran out of toilet paper and we would have liked more towels as there were 4 of us. We did go to the desk for the things we needed but a simple service of checking the bathroom would have shown what we needed replaced.
That being said we liked it and would definitely stay here again!"
"Staff was super friendly at check-in. Room was very clean and quiet. The location was fantastic as we stayed on 4th of july weekend so fireworks were right down the road. Close to quite a few great things about the area. We had breakfast at the Tavern both mornings and it was quite good and not nearly as expensive as you might expect it to be in this type of resort."

"I would definitely stay here again, but the property itself is a little run down. I'm sure that at one time the place was beautiful, but it appears that years of deferred maintenance could be taking its toll. The once beautiful marble walkways all around the place seem to be falling into disrepair, and the maroon canopies that cover several road-facing windows are now sun faded and sagging. While the walls, ceilings, and floors of our room seem to have been recently renovated , it looks like they just moved the same old nicked, scratched, and stained furniture back into the room. But the thing that was of most concern to me was that the Cable remote wasn't paired to the TV, making watching a World cup game very difficult that evening. The one saving grace was that, on a 90+ degree day, the pool was cool, clean, and used surprisingly little by the other guests. Also, the staff at the front desk were very polite and professional, both upon check-in and check-out ."
