When you are here you feel at home. Outstanding service from all the staff. Very friendly. The dinner is a must to try. Very delicious. We enjoyed our 3 days stay its so close to pompeii ruins walk distance less than 4 minutes and you can find many many places to eat. You can even walk to town. Very well located to everything that you need. Definetely will stay again here. Rooms were very clean and big. This is the place to stay if you ever in Pompeii.

Amazing stay in Pompeii

We got this stay on our way to Pompeii and got a wonderful surprise. Don Domenico received us at the gate and from there we got show to our lovely rooms and headed to a great dinner. Lorena and Giuseppe took care of the meal and stay. Can't say enough about out stay in Pompeii. And the property is right beside the Pompeii ruins. 5 min walk to the main entrance.

Great value for money. Recommend the homemade dinner option, it was delicious. Owners were very friendly. This is not a Hilton or Marriott, it is an authentic family run motel/hotel. Would stay again when visiting. Short walk to Pompeii Free secured parking on site.

Well placed as a base to visit Pompeii ruins, Vesuvius, Sorrento and Naples. Train station only a 8 min walk - able to hear them from property but did not cause us an issue. Good clean basic accomodation and having a pool area for a dip and relaxing around was great. The optional evening meal is not to be missed - try it out at least once during a stay. Staff very friendly and approachable. Ensured we had breakfast very early on day of departure.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. There is a lovely pool and garden and breakfast is included. It is next to rail line but has a railfan that was a bonus for me. Station and archeological site within walking distance.

If you want a place to stay where your plan is to see Pompeii stay here. They have a home cooked 5 course meal available for a few that is absolutely amazing. They are friendly and it is walking distance to Pompeii archaleogical site and the Pompeii train station so you can continue your trip to the amalfi coast after testing snigger here to see pompei

Excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, The pool was small but refreshing. you MUST have dinner there at least one night the home made itilaian dinner they provide is absolutely incredible. 10 minute walk to Pompeii archaeology site And to the train station is a 7 minute walk. A charming stay in Napoli

Villa Franca is a charming, family-run place that prioritizes delicious food and making guests feel welcome. It’s conveniently located just down the road from the Pompeii ruins, offering a safe and private atmosphere despite a few other travelers staying at the villa. Our host was gracious and even sent us on our way with homemade sandwiches for the road the next day. The dinner we pre-booked was incredible, and the rooms were clean where it mattered most. However, the mattress and pillows could use some updating. The villa is situated next to the train line, so it can be quite loud, but fortunately, the trains stop running overnight, though they do wake you up in the morning. Overall, the experience felt authentic and pleasant, and I would recommend staying here!

The Villa is situated close to the Pompeii ruins and train station. The value for money was good and facilities available met our needs. Cleanliness was good with the room being cleaned daily. The owners were friendly and very informative with their local knowledge and suggestions. We would recommend Villa Franca to others. The atmosphere is friendly but not intrusive. Highly recommend staying here before a trip to Pompeii park. It’s walking distance from the park entrance and the train station. It’s run by a lovely family. We arrived late and starving from the Naples airport on the 1st night of our trip. We were worried about finding food becuase the small town looked pretty closed for the evening. The wife cooked us the most amazing meal. The courses just kept coming and coming (no menu) and she made sure we were well fed and had beer and wine for us. Breakfast the next morning was also good and we were able to store our bags while on the tour of Pompeii. Very friendly family and happy we were able to stay with them!

amazing place all around. literally a 5 minute walk away from pompei which was also right across the street from the train station (which had restaurants and a little shop with essentials), which made getting to sorrento/the amalfi coast super easy. the place was very quiet and peaceful, and the neighbourhood felt safe. dinner is provided as long as you let them know in advance and the food is great and authentic. we felt welcomed like family, and the dinner area was a great place to meet other people staying at the villa. absolutely recommend to anyone visiting pompei!

This was a gem of a find. It may not have 5 star decor, but dont let that fool you. The family who run the Villa are amazing, very friendly, cant do enough for you and are very knowledgable. We ate here every night and wow, just wow. The food was out of this world. Its a set menu which changes daily, but if you dont like something theyll happily change it. It is also within 10 mins walk of pompeii, and the station for Herculaneum, Sorrento and Naples. We will come back here.

The property is excellent value for money and great if you want an authentic experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. We did eat the evening meal which I found really tasty. My son is a picky eater - but he ate the pasta and the meat course. They did check with us if there was anything we didn’t eat the morning of our meal which I thought was really kind of them. Put last day we snacked throughout the day so wasn’t too hungry so we bought a sandwich and some noodles locally. They prepared my son’s noodles for him which was really kind. My son did use the pool a couple of times too. The train is noisy but only a couple an hour and it stops over night so doesn’t disturb sleep. You done it out after a while in any case. Great place to stay and great location for the ruins. Thank you for your hospitality.

We spent two weeks in Italy (Rome, Pompei and Sardinia). Villa Franca was one of our favourite places to stay (we are a family of four). Why? The owners are absolutely wonderful people. The Napoli hospitality was right there...cooked dinner, great conversation, etc. I just wished we had stayed longer. Also, the location is ideal for visiting the Pompei ruins.
