"Great place to stay very central and great with Bistro/bar outside the door. Room was great spacious but could do with a little updating. Beautiful property outside though. Room was overall clean, but attention to spider webs etc. at outdoor seating areas could be improved. It is a party place, so noisy up till 11pm. But that didn't bother us. Very convenient location."

"We did enjoy our stay there at the lane retreat in hunter valley, however, I should mention something I didnโ€™t quite like. I did write to them that my girlfriend is allergic to pumpkin seeds or pepitas and the granola we were given for breakfast had lots of them. I would have appreciated if someone have read the message and maybe picked a different type of granola or musli for us. I had to pick out every pumpkin seeds of the whole bag so she could eat too. Apart from that we loved everything in there and would come back 100 percent"

"This is the 3rd year staying here in October for my sons golf tournament. Got to see the owner around again. Well done to Dr Schwartz! Everything is clean and well maintained. There some amenities that were low, but as soon as we notified housekeeping it was all provided quite quickly. Even though i prefer carpet, love the new floorboards they put in. Place looks so refreshed. Kids activities were still the fav! Train rides, jumping castle and love the water park. Breakfast is always so good with all the options. Loved the pastries and so many options with eggs. Thank You Rydges we will probably be back again next year."

"The same thing I dont like everytime at this hotel is also the only thing I ever have to complain about @ The Gateway Inn... & thats when I have to leave. (Sad Face) I just love this place, the staff are so wonderful & are always happy to go the extra mile yet so modestly & kindly make you feel like nothing is a bother or too much to accomodate in their efforts to show that you're valued as a customer & feel welcomed like a family friend. The vibe is like a big safe warm hug. The rooms provided are generous in space, ameneties are varied & top notch & the customer service extended is of international standards. And No I wasn't promised anything to say all these great things about the Gateway, but Ive tried the rest & dont even have to guess you'll be impressed- by the Best Hotel in town!!"
