"Right in the heart of the medina by the blue gate, the room was a good size wirh a great bathroom and the staff made it such a lovely time, really eager to share knowledge about the area and help you find a good guide. It was a really great mid point for all of the cool spots and the walkability made everything a great time. Absolutely loved this location."

"My only regret is that I can’t give it 6 out of 5!
To start with, even before I arrived Ayoub had made contact with me, sorted out where I needed to park and arranged to meet me. If you know anything about Fes then it’s well worth being guided in that first time!
The Riad itself is stunning, tucked away around the 7 turns that lead to it, it’s an oasis. A beautiful building with an adjoining ‘sister’ Riad that is also stunning. The staff instantly made you feel welcome and at ease. Ayoub...

"This was the best Riads we stayed at. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were gave us great tips for around the city and we enjoyed our conversations together. Our room was beautiful and the terrace had an amazing view of Fez. Highly recommend Riad Jamaï especially if it is your first time in Morocco! "
"We stayed in the room with a terrace from November 11th to 14th. Although the surrounding establishments aren't very pleasant (a large metalworking shop, a small cemetery, and a shabby stable on the back hillside), it's a wonderful place. It's worth closing your eyes and letting yourself be carried away by the atmosphere. It's very well located (2 minutes from a gate to the Medina), making it very convenient to reach by car. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The towels and sheets were of good quality. They have a restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. The breakfast is plentiful and impeccable. Among other things, we had a meat tagine with caramelized onions, which was one of the best things we ate in Morocco. The traditional soup was delicious; in fact, we had it several times. The staff is wonderful, professional, and attentive to every need. Mohamed was incredibly courteous and selfless, always smiling and dedicated to making our stay a five-star experience. Boubker was equally impressive, recommending a Medina tour with a guide named Mustafa, who turned out to be a passionate expert on the city. He made us fall in love with Fes, its history, anecdotes, and secrets—a truly 10-star tour. He also recommended Pedro, who took us to Volubilis, Meknes, Moulay Idriss, and several other sites on a beautiful day trip. Thanks to our stay, we will return to Fes."
"Riad Mazar Fes is an oasis of calm and incredible beauty. The owner Hamid and staff were so kind and welcoming, giving us a tour of the exquisite palace (that’s honestly what it feels like) upon arrival, serving us delicious mint tea and breakfasts, and making helpful recommendations. We also dined in the Riad our first night and it was the best meal we’d had in Morocco. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and quiet and every bit as beautifully, intricately decorated as the courtyards. We loved waking up in the mornings to the gentle sounds of water in the fountain in the courtyard below. I don’t know if the photos of this place could ever do justice to how beautiful it is. Thank you to everyone at Riad Mazar for your genuine kindness and hospitality. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."
"We were looking for a charming, clean and quiet place with character within walking distance from all the main attractions and this riad ticked all the boxes!
Convenient location, yummy food and wonderful staff! Latifa and the host took a good care of us, demonstrating attention to our needs.
Honestly a lovely place to stay in Fes!"
"Beautiful Riad, Terrible Service
The Riad itself is exceptionally beautiful, and our room was nice. However, the service and organization were unprofessional and disappointing. They seemed to have forgotten our reservation, leading to a chaotic half-hour check-in delay and an unnecessary discussion about our prepaid status. My attempts to contact them beforehand about parking and directions were unanswered.
The room was assigned with a dirty bathroom (hair from a previous guest), and it took several hours and multiple reminders to get it cleaned so we could shower. After all of this, the general staff's attitude was equally poor; they were unfriendly and often ignored our greetings. The only saving grace was the good breakfast and friendly kitchen and cleaning stuff."
"Riad is in a great location, just outside the Medina. The complex is beautiful and well maintained with good facilities. The room was spacious and well equipped and the breakfast and dinner were tasty. My only complaint is that the mattress was VERY firm, but it seems like this is common in Morocco. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again."
"Our brief stay was wonderful. The location was very convenient (five minute walk to the Blue Gate). The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to every request we had. The Onyx Suite was also amazing!"
