La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clinton Historic Route 66
10/10 Excellent
"The front desk gentleman at check-in was very kind and professional. He thoughtfully provided bedding for the pullout bed.
The family suite was perfect for a family of 5 and already cool upon entry. AC worked great. Hallelujah, there were liners in the trash cans! There was a mounted shampoo, conditioner, shower gel rack in the shower. Beds were comfortable, and we loved the pillows. The breakfast was excellent and well maintained by a professional, friendly gentleman (eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, tots, fruit, yogurt, waffles, juice, coffee, etc.). The pool was cool to me, but my kids swore it was great and swam no problem; there were even pool toys provided.
The check-out process let us choose our leaving time, which I really appreciated. The checkout young lady was very kind and friendly.
If I'm listing any negatives at all, they are:
-The bathroom had no exhaust fan (so everything gets very humid).
-The shower curtain was so extremely short we struggled to keep water from getting on the floor.
-The indoor pool area had outside doors propped open and big June beetles kept flying in and getting in the pool and crawling all around.
Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives; we'd definitely stay again!"
"The Young Ladies at the Front Desk were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and kind.
Great Job. We needed extra towels, lost Croc's and Expensive Shirts around swimming pool area. They had picked them up for us and were waiting in Lost & Found. Yay! Breakfast was fantastic. A full counter of fruits, granolas, pancakes (neat machine that makes three at a time, crispy bacon, breakfast potatoes, several kinds of pastries, bagels and of course scrambled eggs with biscuits & gravy. Wow! Impressive. The Indoor Water Park is closed while I-40 construction work continues. Hopefully it will finish by the end of next year (27) and will re-open. Our 4 grandkids missed getting to go but made good use of the indoor pool at the facility several times a day. Whoo Hoo!!"
"We came to Weatherford for our Route 66th 100th anniversary adventures. They have a great spaceman in Weatherford town square. We did have some minor noise issues with kids staying across the hall, but the front desk clerk dealt with it and we got a quite night sleep. We also Doorsdashed some Q-Doba from across the street and it was good. 10/10"

Holiday rentals provide amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a clean environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular option for a family getaway.
