"Staff was exemplary. Location was superb. Breakfast was delightful and I can't think of better adjectives to describe how wonderful the entire experience was overall"
"Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and my room had a stunning sea view which was a joy every morning!
The bar and restaurant were closed during my stay and signs helpfully signposted to local cafes, bars and restaurants close by which were good recommendations.
The hotel is older and some work was getting done. The rooms are dated though the bed was incredibly comfy and all the amenities worked. Sockets near the bed and a newer heating system/electric radiators would improve the overall comfort.
Staff were flexible with my departure times letting me leave my luggage until I was leaving Lerwick rather than having to carry it around all day which was incredibly helpful "
"Lovely staff, presentable common areas, breakfast choices limited but a freshly cooked breakfast is offered. Unfortunately the rooms are super dated and old fashioned for a premium price over £150 per night. In the uk they would struggle to get £60 per night."
"We were on a 3-week tour of Highlands & Islands. Owners Andrea and Paul were stupendous hosts! So kind and helpful! Food, especially dinner, was first class! We learned much about the history and where to visit. Irving, the waiter, was charming. We strongly recommend."
