"Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment
The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely.
The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

"First time visiting Cornwall and staying in Mullion at Savoy Bay was amazing! We loved the location and it was easy to drive to the popular hotspots and also to beautiful hidden gems. I was surprised at how spacious the cottage was and how beautiful the decor was as from the outside it looks small! Although there was not direct on site parking, the free public parking area was a 5 min walk down the road"

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby.
Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"

"Great location with easy walk to town. EV charging is a bonus and no issues with getting a space in the car park.
Really friendly staff and complimentary upgrade was much appreciated."

"This is simply a lovely place to stay in Penzance. The owners are so kind and helpful, breakfast was excellent everyday, it’s close to everything, and the room was so comfortable. Stay here. It’s awesome."

"We stayed in a cabin at the Pirate Inn Penzance. It was brilliant.
You could feel the cleanliness.
. Everything you needed for a stay was in the cabin, toiletries, kettle, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, get the idea it was all there ' hairdryer, fridge , little brush & dustpan. Really rea.ly comfortable place to stay.
We had dinner at the inn, just a few steps from the cabin.
. A good selection on the menu and nice welcoming staff."
"The staff are lovely helpful and polite. The very best part of the hotel which is sadly a run down Victorian/Edwardian pile in desperate need of a total revamp. However, I know this will never happen as it would not stack up financially. Served us well for a single night on the way back from the Scilly.
One of the few dog friendly hotels we could find in Penzance. Breakfast was nice but we chose a really busy time and the staff were amazing under pressure. The place was remarkably busy. But I guess that reflects the limited choice in the town."
"Fabulous hotel in Truro. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The one thing to note that’s missing in their rooms is a mini frig. Otherwise it’s a stunning hotel."
"I stayed here for 1 night only with my mom. The overall maintenance of the hotel needs sprucing up, it is very shabby in areas. The breakfast room was lovely, no complaints here. The room we stayed in could do with a bit of TLC, the curtain lining was all torn, the walls needed painting and the draws in the dresser won't open unless you open the wardrobe door first.
I called about 3 days before our stay to check everything was ok and ask a few questions - one was about electric car charging. I was told it was a first come first serve and I couldn't reserve a space. When we arrived the 2 electric spaces were occupied, one car charging but the other wasn't even an electric car! I asked at reception if they could find out who it was and ask them to move and I was again told no, and they let people park in them if they need to due to mobility issues. If I had tried to park in a disabled bay not being disabled I'm sure this wouldn't be allowed. When we arrived back after being out all day both cars were still there but this time neither were being charged. I called the night manager on the phone who was going to see if he could find out who's cars they were and that in fact you can reserve the spaces!
The following morning the receptionist that was on was helpful and once the one space became available she reserved the space for me.
I was very disappointed with breakfast too - the bacon was terrible.
The hotel wasn't cheap and I expected a better standard."
"From the outside it looks run down and the bar area also might not appeal to everyone BUT the people where lovely the staff the locals in the bar it's just a inn / pub with rooms BUT the room was big the bed huge for me as a solo traveler I'd say it was king or queen saved not just a double. Iv stayed in places at double the price with half as much space so was made up with the room and the breakfast they had a buffet section with loads of stuff to eat and drink then a cooked breakfast I went with a full English if I'm being critical it took awhile and the elements that were pre prepared were slightly over done but still edible not burnt to a crisp just a very well cooked sausage let's just say but all in all for £6 extra no need to grumble and as I say you could have had anything you wanted for breakfast plus the buffet of juices and pot style filter coffee and pods and cereal for the price it's great exactly what I needed after cycling John o groats to lands end and needing to wait over night for a train"
"St. Michaels hotel is pretty nice, staff were friendly. Due to schedule change I asked for one night extension which has been taken care. Unfortunately, it rained quite heavily during our stay, so we were unable to explore the surrounding areas entirely."
