So overall just a very very basic hotel. Room was fine for a place to crash. Room could use some paint in a few places but over all was clean. Daily maid service did a nice job of making the room back up after my first night's stay ( i was there three nights). Breakfast that was provided was beyond basic so I chose to eat elsewhere. Fridge in room worked well. Weekday nights were very quite with the weekend being the opposite. But i cant fault the hotel for other guest's simply being rude. Check in and out was smooth. If I was in the area traveling under the same circumstances, I would stay here again. Again very bare bones but clean and inexpensive.

Had to request a different room due to a smell that I couldn’t quite pinpoint other than to describe it as “decomposition”. The staff was very polite in doing this. The hallway smelled like marajuana even though there are no smoking signs posted everywhere. When we mentioned it the staff that was taking care of us just chuckled. The continental breakfast was EXTREMELY limited. A few pieces of bread for toast, two kinds of dry cereal and some juice and coffee. The continental breakfast ended at 9 am which seems early considering checkout isn’t until 11, I believe. While I wasn’t planning to eat any of the breakfast I thought that might be helpful for other travelers to know.

We stayed for 4 nights and it was clean and nice. Housekeeping was outstanding. Service everyday including Thanksgiving!! Beds were good. The only thing they could change is their breakfast options- cereal and toast is no breakfast. Need to add more options and maybe a waffle maker for something hot and maybe bagels or hard boil eggs— there are a lot of options out here that would take literally nothing to have onboard. But I would stay there again- just plan to eat breakfast somewhere else!!

I planned a trip to Muncie, Indiana but accidentally booked 2 hotels for the same trip. I called the Days Inn and asked if I could cancel my reservation and have the fee waived but they refused to waive the fee for the room. So I canceled the other reservation I had made at the Quality Inn, as they had indicated I might still be able to receive a waiver of their fee. But upon arriving at the Days Inn, I was informed that my reservation had indeed been canceled. At no time did I instruct Days Inn to follow through with the cancellation of the reservation since they refused to allow a waiver of the fee. So Days Inn canceled the reservation on their own without authorization. And when I arrived there, they refused to give me the room that I had reserved and was being charged for. When I said that I was there for the room and had not canceled it, they just insisted that it was canceled and said that the only way I could get a room was to make a new reservation. When I inquired as to whether or not I would have to pay twice, I was informed that, yes, I would have to pay for both the initial, now canceled reservation, as well as the new one. So Days Inn refused to waive the fee as a courtesy since I had accidentally booked two rooms for the same dates. They then canceled the room without authorization and still charged me for it. On top of that they also tried to charge me again, making me pay for a 2nd reservation, rather than giving me the room I had originally booked.

Lamps in room had shades that were dirty, torn and just handing onto the frame by a thread. Sheets had stains on them. We tried to check in about 12:30pm knowing that check in was 3:00 just hoping we could get in room before football game. The man at the front desk was watching TV on his computer and non verbally made it known we were bothering him. There was no "hello" no nothing. He checked to see if there was a room ready, which there was not. He did not offer any alternative, did not say anything, just turned around and went back to his TV show. Upon checking in later in the early evening after the game, I wanted to pay cash but the man said I could not because he had no change. He was nice and mannered. I have stayed here before but the room we had this time needs alot of TLC even for a budget hotel.

I arrived after it was dark. The area was poorly lit. I didn’t even find the front entrance at first. When I found the lobby, the attendant did not acknowledge me. He totally ignored me. I heard another guest commenting her room was dirty and had bugs. I left.

They were available for check in just after 3 PM. The room was clean with no smells and the AC already turned down to a comfortable temperature. The property was well lit and a close parking space was always available. It was a no smoking property! Although further from the activity we were attending, the experience here was better. Entry carpet very dirty, room carpet dirty walked around in sox and ended up throwing them out. Too discusting to wash. Shower head was clogged with some brown residue. Shower spray more annoying than refreshing. Asked to change rooms durring the day while i was away but denied. Never going back.

Run down and uncomfortable.
The room was 84 degrees when I entered. Door didn’t lock when you shut the door. Phone was broke, lamp was broke, bed and pillows uncomfortable. Bed looked trashy. The place to hang clothes was nasty. When I was checking in another customer was complaining that housekeeping didn’t leave toilet paper. Also hair dryer didn’t work so I had wet hair going into work.

The stay would have been okay had it not been for the mistreatment of my family. Two other ladies were put out of their rooms for complaints of a barking dogs in which we booked room for pets. The complainant was said to be irate and refunded his money and asked to leave. I understand the importance of peace during a stay. The manager at the time of complaint went to the room to contact my family. My sister-n-law was in the room with her daughter. My sister is in the middle of post treatments from chemotherapy. My niece is visibly pregnant. The manager first said he smelled marijuana in the hallway. Then went on to say it was apparent where it came from as they opened the door after he knocked, the odor hit him in the face. We resent the accusation of my family doing drugs. The hallway already smelled like smoke and urine when we first arrived anyway. We didn’t complain, just figured it was the pet section of the hotel. However, my last night was a real smack in the face when I had to listen to dogs right across the hall. I booked my room where pets would be. I left my dog at home with a sitter because the rules state they couldn’t be over 40lbs. However, other stays had dogs much bigger than mine. I made sure I took pictures and I have the recordings of the barking dogs for my records. Because charging my family smoke fees and other fees to make up for having to refund another guest was obvious.
