Loved the location!! Only a few blocks from Oktoberfest & both parade routes. The staff was incredibly friendly and the place had a modern atmosphere.

Decent hotel
The good: Clean room in good shape, high quality breakfast was included. Could improve: large clunky old fashioned key that's not comfortable to carry. Also would be nice if there was instruction that the key needed to be inserted for electricity to work, so didn't have electric until the next day. Elevator shut off on the way down but started working some minutes later, which was scary.

Cobwebs around door, looked like it needed dusting everywhere. Hairdryer was melted. Front door lock seemed broken. Wifi didn't really work. About 25 minute walk to marianplatz centre.

They are cheats, because in the reservation they say one thing but when you arrive it is another. Be careful, I do not recommend this place.

Nothing Special - Smelly Room
Pros: 20-30 min walk to things we wanted to do, bed was comfy, and it was dog friendly. Cons: You need a key to run the electricity in your room - has to be inserted at all times and you need the same key to enter the building (very inconvenient). Shower drain smelled like sewage, therefore our room smelled like sewage. Parking is located about 3-4 blocks away and the hotel is in the middle of several middle eastern markets, so it can be very noisy and chaotic outside. There is also no heat in the stairwells and because it's next to either a bar or restaurant, the hallway always smelled like hookah. Overall, this place worked for the 2 nights we needed it to since we weren't spending too much time in the room, but I don't think we would stay here again.

Comfortable stay
Comfortable stay. Only checkin is tricky, need to do across the road. Lift not working a whole day. But rest all ... no complains. Close to central station and many restaurants.

Don't stay here. No reception desk in the building. Check in (and limited staff) is across the street at another hotel. Very unsecure feeling. One day they forgot to leave enough towels and we were told we had to walk across the street to pick it up. Crummy location. Big issue is the hookah bar next door - the smell in the hotel foyer and first floor and permeating upstairs is really strong and horrible. We tried to move after the first night and Expedia was not able to convince the management to let us out of the rest of the stay without losing 80%. Four nights - just awful.

Walking distance from train station
Hotel is not modern, but it has charm. You actually have a hotel key with the name of hotel & room# on it. But other than that, clean room. Elevator was out twice being there, beds are very small. So if you need a place to lay your head and you’re not a wild sleeper this could be the hotel for you.

Cosmopolitan and convenient
Modern, bright, clean. We loved the atrium garden lobby at check in across the street. Great upscale Greek restaurant next door, and an Afghan cafe and a grocery down the street. Convenient to train yet quiet. Our only concern was that we didn’t receive a room with A/C as requested. Before giving us a new room, the receptionist asked, seriously, “Why don’t you just take off your sweater instead?” We were quite happy with the new room, and highly recommend this hotel.

Easy access to main central station and kind staff but opening a door was a big stress for me cause it requires some trick and time to open a door with key... i had to try many times to open a door with key ... it looked like a very old door key hole and it didn’t work well..with help of staff, I could open it and got used to it

Small hotel relatively close to main train station. Rooms were nice and quite clean. Lobby was unfortunately across the street in a sister hotel, but otherwise everything was fine.

Misrepresented amenity of air con.
Unfriendly staff. Lied about air con and then refused to admit it. Although there was no air con in the room. They kept insisting there was but would not come to room to show us how to use (because there was none). Room was dirty. Hairs on bed sheets. I would not recommend.

Great place to stay
We stayed here for two nights visiting from Australia two adults and two kids. Upon arrival you need to check in across the road in the Atlas hotel. It took us some time to work it out as the sign was in German. 24 hour reception is brilliant and so is their breakfast. Staff were pleasant all the time. I would stay here again for sure. The internet was fast and reliable which was very handy. Room is up one flight of stairs.

Very accessible for public transportations, very good breakfast room is good size but not the bed for 6"5 tall. Heating and air conditioning was good, they don't give us small face towel Room was clean. Good staff, Over all I will come back again..

Nice hotel, near the Central Railway Station.
We (a couple) stayed at the hotel for about a week. The room was very convenient. It is a quiet hotel, and at breakfast we met just a few people. The hotel's location is very convenient, and we made the best of it. An excellent Greek restaurant is located in the next house (Nr. 58). Other restaurants are very close.

I had a very comfortable 3 bed room as described unbelievable 40sqm. There was a kitchen inside but absolutly nothing to use it for, no plates, no cutlery, no utensils whatsoever. Hotel has but an absolutly amazing breakfast.

Kavun is not really a hotel
"Kavun" belongs to the "Atlas Hotel" across the road, but there were no indications when booking. We assume the hotel acquired some apartments and offers them under a different name. Although they are apartments with kitchen, etc. the cupboards are empty, so the whole set up seems somewhat shady. The area is convenient but pretty run down. Nothing wrong with the place but we are very disappointed with Expedia for the misleading advertisement.

I was surprised they did not have a lobby and we had to check in across the street at Atlas Hotel, but otherwise the property was nice. We paid extra for the breakfast and it was very well-done with a wide variety of options. Would stay here again!

Last minute Oktoberfest booking!
Booked this place last minute during Oktoberfest. The rate was reasonable but the room was small and the twin beds were uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a football, always felt like I was going to roll off. Sheets like paper and the blanket was small. Bathroom leaked, so when you went to the toilet you got dripped on.amagent thanked is for letting them know about the leak. There was dated water damage so something tells me they knew before.

Excellent city centre hotel. Comfortable and clean room, good Wi-Fi and a nice breakfast. The staff were helpful. Close to U-bahn station and short walk from the centre.
