Excellently clean rooms with tasteful decor that adds to the feeling of a premium stay. I appreciate the refill of drip coffee and green tea packets in the room, as well as daily complimentary water in the mini fridge. Lovely and helpful staff, and this includes the cleaners in the morning.
The location is a comfortable short 8-10 minute or so walk to Hakata station, and the hotel sits next to Kushida Shrine metro station. Just as noteworthy is the hotel’s proximity to Canal City and the inexplicably popular Full Full Hakata bakery. I can’t comment about the public bath or the restaurant as we did not use them during our stay.
I’d say the main downsides are:
- Only two laundry machines
- The room kettles are bafflingly slow at boiling any volume of water
- No actual coffee machine that guests can freely use. Drip coffee packets in the room are refilled daily, and you get a token for an extra drink, but that’s about it.
