"Room was roomy beds was cumfy and clean.good size bathroom just 1 complain nowhere to put your shampoo ect in shower.and only given a shampoo conditioner combo no shower gel to was but small soap.staff very friendly and nice.had a $10 breaky deal with a egg and bacon burger and endless coffee. "My wife and I have stayed at the Shamrock numerous times over the past 2+ decades, and it never disappoints. We love the historic value, the layout and feel of the property, and the character it exudes. We have stayed on different floors in different rooms and suites. The property is private, restful and quiet, with the exception of normal street noise. This visit, we noticed that some upkeep is necessary. I can only speak for our room and the main areas, but could do with some new carpet, deep cleaning, and a lick of paint. Our guest room would benefit from some new furniture, window coverings and some decent cleaning. The cleanliness, as well as the dated and worn furnishings and decorations are letting your standard down. Beautiful bathroom, but lacking a proper shower, which is simply mounted over the bath. Property Manager, you could very easily turn this property into a genuine 4 or 5-star hotel with very little effort or cost, and we would love to see it updated! I’m sure we will be back."

"Booked a stop-over night. Pleasantly surprised, we wanted to stay longer. Clean room by the pool, great activities spas & pools indoor/outdoor, games room, outdoor golf, chess. Ate at the restaurant great menu & service. Booked full breakfast - lots of food/variety. It was like staying in a resort. Staff welcoming and ready to assist with any requirements. We loved it so much we booked for another stay on the way back. Highly recommend, especially if you have teens/kids. "
