Oman, Middle Eastern gem
I literally had the oldest room in the world. Carpet was gross, shower curtain fell as I was taking a shower, and bed was rock hard. Reaked of smoke despite non-smoking. However, I knew I was not staying at the InterCon, so I was not under any illusion. My main focus was a place I could shower, sleep and had A/C...which this place checked every box. Staff friendly! For the price I paid, especially during the National Day holiday month, I am not upset. If all you need is a place to sleep and store your junk, this is a good pick.

You get what you pay for
This is a plain and simple hotel. The aircon failed after one night so moved to a suite without fuss. If you are using as a base it's ok.

Good for a short stay
I stayed in this hotel with my wife for two days and found it to be reasonably good. I had booked for a Double room and the room size was fair with little space to move about. There was a small fridge and Tea/Coffee maker on a Writing Table and a very old model TV on a side drawer. The breakfast was basic with a few fruits, bread and a few snacks options. The menu of the breakfast was changed the next day. Though not a memorable stay, we had a comfortable stay in the hotel.

Save money live better
We stayed here for two nights on a budget. We're coming back in a few days. Reception is very knowledgeable and friendly! Breakfast is decent and included!

A clean budget hotel amidst over-priced hotels
A budget hotel which is clean and close enough by car to some local attractions (Oman Dive Center, some marinas with beaches and restaurants, old Muttrah, Bandar Khayran and a couple of 5 star hotels for a bit of luxe, and not far from Qurum is the reason I rate the Delmon so highly. Bear in mind you need a car in Oman to make the best of it. The breakfast buffet is a bit hit amd miss, but this is a budget hotel. Staff are friendly.

Out of the way in a good way
A great location not far from sea - picturesque - and quite close to the traditional souk and historic harbour of Muttrah. A quiet, green area that is straightforward to get to and away from the bustle of the city.

Delmon Hotel a good choice for business
An easy location with plenty off road parking and good internet connection. A good choice for the business traveller, great food aswell

Decent Hotel; clean; Poorly located unless renting
Pleasantly surprised by the room, comfortable with nice bed, fridge, and decent and clean bathroom... but no daily room cleanings and towels must be requested. Two draw backs... 1) located far away from major attractions unless you are renting a vehicle plan to spend a good chunk on taxis or wait for the bus. 2) also the hotel overcharged me and did not adhere to online reservation price.

A bit difficult to find do make sure you take a map. One of the best beds I have ever slept in so that is why the comfort is 5. The room was a 4.

Value for money, peaceful location.
Excellent place to explore the Muscat area and the region south of Muscat (only 10-15 minutes to several dive centres). Staff was friendly and helpful. Easily to access with car and good parking options. Rooms at the western side of the hotel are very quite at night. We stayed two times in the hotel and our rooms were always clean. We had issues with mosquitos. Water may flood the bathroom while taking a shower. The fish tanks are too small for the large animals inside!

Just the perfect hotel
Although the hotel is not located in the same center of Muscat, it is close enough and to get to the city can be used not only in taxi, but also the local bus, which costs 0,100 Rial. Excellent Arabic service, excellent breakfast and very spacious rooms. And as a special thank you for the bikes provided by the hotel in order to better be able to view and enjoy the city!

Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, aber nichts desto trotz recht sauber (sieht man einmal davon ab, dass Teppiche im Lauf der Zeit immer etwas mitgenommen aussehen). Obwohl um einen Block versetzt zur Hauptstraße nach Muskat, war es in der Nacht teilweise sehr laut. Mit eigenem Auto oder auch mit Taxi ist z.B. der Souq gut erreichbar, in der direkten Umgebung gibt es Supermarkt und Restaurants. WLAN ist verfügbar. Das Hotel liegt im Geschäftsbezirk von Maskat, man muss also mit dem Auto/Taxi zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist aber OK.

D'abord, l'hôtel est difficile à trouver. Ensuite, arrivée comme prévu vers 20h, la chambre réservée n'est pas celle qu'on me donne. Il n'y a ni cuisine, ni coffre-fort. Et la salle de bain sent mauvais. Je râle en disant que je ne resterai qu'une nuit (ce que je comptais vraiment faire). On m'en a fait visiter une autre. Pas mieux. On m'a donc "surclassé" dans la chambre que j'avais initialement réservée. Cette fois il y a bien une cuisine, mais entièrement vide. J'ai quand même accepté car ça devenait franchement lourd. Le petit-déjeuner est tout simplement lamentable (du tang et du nescafé !!, nourriture immonde), la bouteille d'eau offerte inexistante. Quant au ménage, il faut le réclamer, et il faut aussi réclamer les serviettes et les produits de toilette. Enfin, le tapis de sol dans la salle de bain n'existe pas ! Je n'y retournerai jamais. Hotel.com ferait bien de vérifier la description et la réalité offerte !

Wir waren zu dritt in Maskat unterwegs und da kam uns dises Appartment ganz gelegen: nicht zu wei vom Zentrum, viel Platz (3 Schlafzimmer und jedes mit eigenem Bad) und für 3 Sterne war es auch recht sauber. Einziger Negativpunkt: morgens um 6 war hinter dem Hotel viel Lärm.

Hôtel pour des petits budgets
L'hôtel est un peu loin du centre ville (une heure de marche), mais pratique pour ceux qui souhaitent utiliser des bus (la gare centrale à 20 minutes de marche). L'accueil est agréable, les chambres sont assez grandes, certaines un peu vieillottes. Elles sont plutôt bien équipées, mais pas nettoyées tous les jours. La salle de bains n'était pas superbe, la douche est moyenne. Le petit déjeuner est correct et change un peu tous les matins. Il est possible de dîner à l'hôtel. Par contre le transfert de l'hôtel est finalement les taxis privées que l'hôtel appelle. Un hôtel correct pour un petit budget. Un supermarché ouvert tard est en face, de l'autre côté de la route.

It was a nice stay. The people are very helpful. We stayed with 4 persons and had the family room with 2 bedrooms. Everything was fine and we would stay here again
