The location was easy to find and situated perfectly for visiting Muttrah (fort, souq, coastline). The service has been amazing, everybody was exceptionally friendly. We could even check in earlier! Food at breakfast, dinner and at the pool has been full of variety and always tasty. Rooms have always been clean and ours has been quite large. Furniture is a little bit outdated but that did not bother us.

Great stay at Sheraton hotel. Very friendly staff, lovely facilities and free parking The beds were nice and comfy, the breakfast was nice but very overpriced for what it was. Good location about 10 drive to the souq and 15 mins to the mosque

Very comfortable and well run hotel. I thought from the pictures that it looked dated but actually the rooms were very comfortable, with a light and airy restaurant area. The pool area is lovely and sheltered, the food is excellent and it's nice that you can eat out by the pool in the evening. The staff were friendly with good service. It's only 10 mins walk to the bus station. The gym and indoor pool are large and modern. The only downsides are that there isn't much in the nearby CBD area, dinner service could be slow and the pool buildings need some refurbishment.

The hotel staff are the biggest asset of this hotel. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel like special guests. The reception staff, restaurant staff and the club lounge provided excellent service and were very attentive. The location of the hotel means it is not easy to seek out alternative dining options but choices at the hotel were good. Thank you to all staff for making our stay so memorable.

We stayed only one night. The check in was quick, sleepers, towels, robes : all was provided. We had stayed in twin bed room, beds are wide. Breakfast is buffet. Many options for vegans. We didn’t have opportunity to check the area around. Locates 30 min drive to Marina for boat trips.

We stayed here during our vacation in Oman, as a base to explore Muscat and the area around. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The hotel has an excellent location, is spotlessly clean, each and every staff member made us feel very welcome. Our room attendant took exceptional care of our room and made us feel like royals. We had a half-board option, which provided a wide variety of options for both breakfast and dinner. The wifi worked excellently. The gym was outstanding, providing the same equipment as top-end gyms in Western Europe. We will stay here again when we come next time to Oman

Good hotel in Ruwi

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the bus station for service between Muscat and Dubai. We understood this hotel was not super central or near to the airport, but the hotel certainly was comfortable and clean. The room was spacious and the bathroom was surprisingly large. Wifi generally worked well, at least on par with the internet performance in the region - decent downloads and mediocre uploads. We spent most of our time exploring Oman and didn't have much time exploring the hotel, but from what we could tell, it was a good property with good staff. Would recommend to those planning to make Ruwi a base for travel.

Fantastic stay

The stay at Sheraton Oman was superb. We started by spending 4 days in Muscat before moving on to Wahiba Sands, Wadi Al Shab, and Nizwa. The first 4 nights were so great that we ended up coming back after traveling around Oman. In total, we stayed at the hotel for 9 nights, which is quite a lot, but we were very happy with it. The location is excellent. We had a car, so it was easy to drive to the places we most often visited - we went frequently to Al Qurm, which is about a 10-minute drive away. Overall, the area is superb because it's quiet and close to everything. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport. The hotel itself is superb - a really, really good breakfast! that has everything one could desire. We became good friends with Sabrine, Ibrahim, Philippe - just to name a few. The hotel staff is super nice. The pool area is lovely and clean. The fitness center has the essentials and is nice. In terms of price, the hotel is absolutely fantastic, and I can highly recommend it.

We were given a very big and spacious room which was perfect for my crawling daughter. The staff were lovely although the attendant at the buffet was not very friendly and made us feel unwelcomed the one night we wanted to go for the buffet, so we ended up leaving. Outdoor pool is so lovely and very popular with the guests (it was hard to find beds at times). I love that they cater to modesty for women around the leisure facilities. Area is great and very convenient if you hire a car for Muscat (which is recommended). Not far from the loveliest serene beach in Qantab.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Certes la décoration des chambres est assez anciennes mais le reste rattrape tout. Très bon choix au buffet avec un petit déjeuner et un dîner qui en vaut la peine. Merci aux personnels pour leur sourire et leur réactivité dès que l’on avait besoin de quelque chose. Un grand merci à Mohammed, un serveur au petit soin et d’une très grande gentillesse.
