"This was an excellent place to stay for first 3 nights in Paris. The room was as described. I had great email correspondence with the management. The hotel staff were accommodating and personable. The breakfast was delicious. It was easy to access the hotel, but you will need internet for texting and email. I would recommend this hotel. It was lovely. We walked everywhere from this location. "Great location! Very nice room in the old section of town with many restaurants & shopping within walking distance. It's relatively close to the train station (about 15 min walk), but it's easy to take public transportation or a taxi. We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked very nice with a well-appointed breakfast room. The owner (I believe), was very nice when checking in and helpful when we ran into a small problem. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you prefer staying in boutique hotels rather than large, impersonal chain hotels. "

Loire Valley Tour

"This is a great hotel to stay if you rent a car to visit the Loire Valley. It is close to the city of Tours and it has a pleasant environment in the hotel. Staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast needs a few adjustments considering how busy the hotel is, like a second coffee machine and toaster. The room had a mini kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and utensils. The pool temperature was slightly cold for me . Overall, I recommend the hotel and definitely I will be back"

"The location is convenient for coming in by train as it's very close to the train station. It's also very walkable to nearby restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and professional. There was a confusion at check out where they asked me to pay taxes that I was already asked to pay at check-in but when I showed him the charge on my credit card account he allowed me to not pay it even though his system did not show it was paid. They also informed me directly after check-out that I had left some jewelry there and offered to ship it to me. I was then immediately contacted by a contracted company they use for shipping to set it up and only had to pay around $40 for 2 day shipping. Overall, the room was spacious for European standards and very well designed. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here."

"Great location. Ancient building but updated decor which is lovely. I included the breakfast option which is similar to those i have had in Germany with sliced meats, cheeses, fruit variety, juices along with sliced baguettes small croissants, jam and butter. Small hotel with friendly proprietor. The only advisory is that you must go up one flight of stairs to the hotel without an elevator"

"Wonderful hotel, walking distance from train station. Hotel decor is a bit eccentric, but very clean and updated. The staff is exceptional and will do anything to make your stay better. Breakfast is served with local produce from farms nearby and served on fine china with linen napkins. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. "
