"This place was amazing. The owners really go out of their way to make you comfortable. It is not too far out of the way (five minutes off the highway) but in the middle of no where. The views from the pool and decks are well worth the drive. The room was very clean and my wife had all the amenities she needed for a comfortable and restful night. Elena recommended a great restaurant nearby for dinner. I would return to this B&B tomorrow if I didn't live in Canada. I wish more B&B's were like...

"I would love to give this a high rating because the staff was great and the location is good. I will also say that it’s very safe. I can’t give it a high rating because there were more than a dozen items in the room that needed a hand on it. Simple things which makes you wonder what the issue is. I didn’t see other rooms but the maid service attempted to come in every day with no way to say “do not disturb”. The first day I thought it was someone at the wrong room because I don’t speak Italian....

"We needed a night stop for our journey from Switzerland to Genoa. We chose the valentino hotel with the breakfast option. I would say the breakfast and dinner was a bit of a disappointment, dinner was just heated up and not freshly made and yet pricey given the location as for breakfast it was very basic; croissants, cereal, and milk. The rooms were clean, the furniture is a bit outdated but still clean nevertheless. There was a strong smell of bleach when we entered the room, it could have been tuned down. parking was very convenient and secure so that was a plus. I will recommend one night stopover. "
