"We spontaneously booked an A Frame for the night because of an upcoming thunderstorm on our bike trip. Amazing value for money, all new bathroom facilities in that area. Magnificent nature. Need a bit of patience waiting for service at peak times but totally worth it. "

"The owner and staff were wonderful. The layout of the complex gave it a feeling of being home. It is designed to make you feel like you are at home. The bar/lounge area was super inviting, felt like family in the lounge, and everyone was happy. The rooms were very nice; again, they made us feel like we were at home. The closets were marvelous. The spa service fees during the fall were so reasonable that I booked several appointments. Love it when I don't feel like I'm giving up a kidney for a facial or massage. We will be going back!"

The food was excellent, and Simon personally ensured that all the activities we wanted to do were fulfilled. We appreciated the casual, impeccable service. "A genuinely fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The service throughout was impeccable. The room was wonderful and spacious with fresh towels each day. The spa is brilliant and if you have the chance to join an Aufguss session we would strongly recommend it - it was great! The itinerary of daily events was a really nice touch and the dessert buffet (Fridays) and banquet dinners (Sundays) were very good. One of the very best hotel stays I have had."
