Palais Moulay Said & SPA

"I stayed here recently and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel itself was clean, the staff was helpful throughout my stay, and I appreciated seeing security regularly present around the property, which made things feel more secure. That said, there were a few issues that kept this from being a higher-rated stay. The bed in my room was pretty uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. More concerning was the condition of the flooring right outside my room — parts of the floor were cracking and felt unstable to walk on, which honestly seemed unsafe. The breakfast was decent, but the options were somewhat limited, especially when it came to protein choices. The pool area was nice, but it was difficult to actually enjoy because the pool chairs were almost always occupied. Overall, the hotel has some positives, especially with cleanliness and staff service, but there are definitely maintenance and comfort issues that need attention."

"From the moment that we arrived and were greeted with mint tea we realized that we were in a great Riad. Everyone was wonderful. Unfortunately we were in a basic room as others were booked out but it was more than adequate. Breakfast was also great. One thing to keep in mind that it is very useful to have gps on first visit as while it is close to the square where the taxis drop you off, it is a bit difficult to find We would happily return."

"I would have to say I was a bit disappointed. Staying at a CR7 property, I expected more from the property itself — not the staff, who were excellent throughout my stay. Below is a quick recap of the pros and cons. Pros: • Great location in an upscale neighborhood • Staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional • Spacious rooms • Comfortable beds and pillows • Great restaurants and cafés nearby — Café % Arabica was my favorite • Pool area was nice and well maintained Cons: • Pool closes early at 6:30 PM • The property itself did not feel particularly well maintained. At times, it felt more like a Vegas-style property — more hype than attention to guest experience and details • Only one small trash can in the room • Food and drinks were a bit overpriced for the quality • Shampoo and body wash were below average • Limited in-room TV entertainment. No movie app options if you want to relax in during the morning or evening"

"The property is beautifully kept, and the three swimming pools and restaurants give a classy appearance. The guest services people at the reception need customer care training. While Moroccans are generally welcoming people, the front desk guys do not reflect that. The manager, a tall lady, was professional and keen on helping guests. Servers at the restaurant were great. Sallah stands out!"
