"We had a wonderful stay at Marine Palace, it was easily accessible and we had a 5 month old plus pram in tow, pool selection was great and the food was excellent, lovely choice and highlight was the BBQ by the Sea! Staff were all very helpful and bonus of a WhatsApp number to message if had any problems, the rooms and all outside areas were kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, very impressed. The village of Panormos was only a 7-8 minute walk away, very small but lovely village with bars, restaurants and a few gift shops. Would definitely return!!!"

"Top notch service from the moment you walk in. Everybody, and I mean everybody there provides the best service/friendliness/helpfulness. Whoever does the hiring there does a great job finding such incredible employees. The resort itself is amazing. Clean, beautiful, beautiful views, great pools, good food. I can’t say enough about this place. I guess the one negative (or positive for some people) is that it’s quite a drive to get anywhere. But I guess that’s just Crete being a big island with everything spread out."

"This was the resort we needed to kick-start our honeymoon the right way. They have it all, golf-buggy door service, multiple pools, day beds and sun beds, cocktails by the pool, multiple restaurants and bars, buffet breakfast. The bed was a little firm but our experience here was still very amazing. The staff are so helpful and so kind, we would gladly come back!"

"Check in was wonderful, Vasiliki was very polite and professional. Finding the parking of the hotel was a tricky one. There were 5 spaces near the entrance - all taken when we arrived, so we parked on the street and got a ticket. The room was spacious and beautiful. Being on the ground floor, there is no balcony, instead a lovely space with table and chairs, and sea view. There is no mosquito net, though and the isolation allows you to hear everything in the hallway and the next room. The negative surprise was 2 empty mini bars and the fact that you need to pay for a bottle of water, in an all inclusive hotel. You also nees to go to the reception desk to get a key for the safe and, again, pay for it. The next negative surprise was the lack of amenities. There are no slippers, minimum bathroom amenities, no laundry bag and no bathrobe, not even even places to hang the towels :( I would never expect that a 4 star hotel will not have slippers or bathrobes, that was so disappointing. When I called for an iron and ironing board - the hotel does not provide ironing board and the iron you need to take from the reception desk, personnel can not bring it to the room. They eventually found an ironing board and even managed to deliver everything in the room. Last, hopefully, surprise, after calling to ask for a late check out, we were informed that we can use the room until 16:00 with a surcharge. Perfectly normal, of course, accept when you have informed the personnel th"

"The taste and quality of food was superb. Great buffet breakfast. Dinners amazing. Staff all friendly and helpful. Activities wonderful. The pool and nature environment so beautiful and relaxing. In the heart of significant antiquities. Rural and remote. "

"Definitely had its ups and downs. Biggest issues were the housekeeping and room. Room was not renovated, bed was uncomfortable and AC didn’t work well. We had issues with housekeepers taking the key card out of the room. It operated the electricity on the room, so our room was horribly hot and we had to get new keys issued twice. "

"The owners were amazingly courteous, friendly, and professional. The property was beautiful and clean, and all staff were always willing to help in any way they could. The pool was always refreshing and relaxing, and there was a fully-stocked pool bar for drinks. Meals were served buffet style, and the dining area oversaw the pool. The rooms had either pool view, mountain view, or partial sea view. I would definitely stay here again! <3"
