The guesthouse was located in a beautiful countryside area just a couple of miles off the main road from Myvatn. The staff was friendly, and we liked that they had postcards, stamps, and some locally made Icelandic wool sweaters for purchase. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated its private bathroom. We visited the restaurant for some evening wine to relax after a day of travel, and the breakfast was tasty and convenient before we headed out to continue our adventure.

This was a lovely guest house in a beautiful setting. The meal we had for dinner was outstanding as well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The driveway was long and unpaved, but I was able to take it slowly without any problems.

Nice location and good rooms with great view and hot tubs and a good breakfast.Only thing missing is a microwave in case you arrive rather late that the restaurant is already closed and you still would like some warm food.
