The proprietor, Lena, made us feel very welcome. She gave us great advice on what to see and do in the area. The pension itself was very charming with its stone walls and wooden beams. A delicious breakfast was included and served in a lovely terrace garden with a waterfall. A great place to stay full of rustic charm.

This is the best of the best in traditional Greek hospitality. The hotel is an authentic family home converted into a quaint, picturesque inn with only 6 bedrooms. It is located one small alley behind the town square so one can easily get anywhere on foot in just a few minutes. Breakfast is served homemade and delicious by a gracious staff.

Cozy and quaint, this little inn is the best of the best in Greek hospitality. Ideally located in the old town, it offers spectacular views, a friendly atmosphere and a sumptuous breakfast. Very highly recommended.

This place was so charming! Loved the location, and the atmosphere! Our room was very spacious for three people and plenty of spaces to accommodate our luggage. The air conditioning was superb. We faced 43C! Yes, it had stairs but not a big deal. The biggest surprise was the served at the table breakfast, all delicious, and unique. Lena and Georgia were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed for another night. The location could not be better. One block to the big plaza, full of restaurants and fun. Thank you!!

Rigas Pension is beautiful! Lena was amazingly kind and helpful. She recommended a number of things to do and places to eat. She served and incredible breakfast every morning and even packed my leftovers up for lunch while I explored. She was great to talk to and takes such great care of her property. Every detail is so well thought out and full of care. She puts so much energy into creating an open and comfortable experience. I'm a solo traveler and felt completely safe and at home at Rigas Pension. I could not recommend this place more. I came for one night, but pushed my plans and stayed for two. Everything about my time here was perfect!

Conveniently located in old town. Fantastic manager. Great breakfast. Charming old house but not well restored, lacking qualitied amenities. If you like old world charm, want the experience and don't mind lacking modern day comfort, go for it. Bring sleeping eye mask and ear plug. It had Wifi and air conditioning. That's about it. Sound carried through rooms and floors very clearly. Even just walking and flushing from the floor above sounded like it was happening in my room. Furniture were old and too big for the room. The metal bed frame was squeaky. The bed footboard made the bed too short for taller people. The old wood window shutters were pretty, but couldn't close tightly nor staying open. So, don't expect complete black out in the morning. Stairs only. Be prepared to carry luggages up stairs.

Come stare a casa

Esperienza unica nel suo genere. Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di soggiornare nel cuore pulsante di Nafplio, a due passi da tutto. L'accoglienza è stata molto calorosa e durante tutto il soggiorno ci siamo sempre sentiti come a casa. Antico stabile ristrutturato con cura nei dettagli, pulitissimo e confortevole. Abbiamo avuto una bella stanza con balconcino proprio sulla via, perfetto. La colazione, abbondante e ogni giorno diversa, si fa nel fresco giardinetto interno, incantevole. Grazie mille, ci ritorneremmo volentieri.

Great place to stay on Nafplio old town

If you want to stay in a comfortable clean charming traditional house in the old town this is the place for you. Great location and thr friendly owner and her team were very helpful. The lovely breakfast in the courtyard is an added bonus.

Very welcoming staff- but if you have a family with little kids, I suggest avoiding these 'pensions'. They're essentially hostels. The rooms are very small. There are options in town for conventional hotels at about the same price.
