"This place is fantastic. The location is great: right on the road to Manuel Antonio, close to Quepos, in a pretty secluded forest area. The staff (mainly one guy) is super helpful and friendly, and each room is essentially a cabin surrounded by trees. The pool is big and deep and open pretty much whenever you want to swim, and the breakfast is big and filling with juice and coffee. Right around our cabin we saw iguanas and hummingbirds and rainbow parrots flying overhead each morning. As long as you have a car, everything interesting is like a 10 minute drive away at the most."

There is a bus stop right outside the front entrance that you can take to downtown Quepos or to the beach for under $1.00. The host was SO nice and very responsive to my questions.
