Word to the wise about onsite parking - do not feed the meter in the lot. Just go to reception, you will pay there. That would be the only piece of advice I would give others and the hotel, is to make that more clear."

"We were touring around and this was a great location, with the beaches of Nairn nearby and good connections to travel wider afield to Inverness and Loch Ness in one direction and Aviemore in the other. The facilities were what you'd expect and we enjoyed the bar and dining in the restaurant on both nights we stayed there - excellent food and service. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, with our many questions about places to go etc. It was also fascinating to learn about the link with Charlie Chaplin, and I would happily stay there again. Location is walking distance from shops, restaurants and the quaint harbour. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others. "
