"You can’t go wrong with this hotel clean stylish great rooms all like the photos. Nice pool right on the seafront in a small bay. 300 that taxi into lamai but free bus down until 7pm. I didn’t try the local area as there were so many place in the main town. Reception staff were always lovely and welcoming"

"New build hotel with small pool, large rooms, equipped kitchen and huge bed! Laundry can be done on site and you can also hire a scooter without need for deposit or passport which is handy. 300 baht deposit needed for room key on arrival, worth noting. Location is around 10-15 mins walk to lamai beach but lots of food places around. "Lovely quiet resort and nice little pool. The beach is nice but you can’t really swim because of rocks but we just enjoyed pool time. It’s also just a couple of quid ride to the night market and all the eateries and stalls so a good little position. Food and drink nice at resort too. Our room was huge with a lounge and kitchen with little terrace and hanging chair - gorgeous! Staff were ALL so lovely :) "

"I have stayed here twice and would stay again. Away from busy tourist areas but nice peaceful garden setting with individual cabanas. Across the (moderately busy) street from the beach but was no issue during the low season getting across. "

"Had an excellent stay and can’t wait to visit again on our next trip to Koh Samui! The staff were so sweet, the cabins were beautiful and super cozy, and the pool was our favourite pool ever!!! 10 minute walk from busy area (shopping, food, spas and nightlife) about 6 minute walk from 7 eleven. We cannot recommend Samui Wooden Hill enough! "
