"The manager Sam was truly amazing. We were a party of 13 and he took care of us as if we were his only client. The property is also amazing. We will definitely be staying here again."

"Nice hotel with good location. Even better when new metro station open just outside the entrance. Big and spacy rooms with good breakfast on the 28th floor with a marvelous view. Good for a weekend trip on the same metro line as the railway station."

"Do not imagine yourself staying in a five stars hotel. This is a very old property. The furniture and amenities are old and beat up. The staff is friendly and competent. The cleaning crew is very friendly and did a good job. The issues arise from the property showing its age that’s all. If you want a true luxury experience I suggest looking for another place:)"

"The first room we checked in had very strong chemical smell and even the electrician who came to fix the bathroom room power noticed the smell. We changed to another room but the bathroom had faucet leaking. The room was in poor condition. Breakfast quality was not good and the staffs not well trained. This hotel is lack of management. the only reason I gave it 2 stars is the great location.

"Our 4-night stay at the Ascott service apartment was pleasant and smooth. The bed was comfortable with just the right level of firmness, and the four supportive pillows helped ease our tired necks after long days of travelling. The TV was easy to operate, with many local channels and content available, although it was difficult to link to our phone for screen casting.
Breakfast at the Level 2 café was a little disappointing. The variety did not change much across the four mornings we were there. Interestingly, the bread toaster was placed under the counter, which made it slightly inconvenient to use. An egg station would have been a nice addition, but unfortunately it was not offered. Since Ascott is a Singapore-owned brand, it would have been a pleasant surprise to see some Nanyang-style items in the buffet. Many of the boiled eggs were also left sitting in the basket for too long, becoming cold and hardened.
On a positive note, the reception staff were warm and friendly, and the concierge service was excellent throughout our stay. Our room was consistently well made and clean, thanks to the attentive room chambermaid, whose attention to detail we appreciated very much.
Nearby, a McDonald’s is scheduled to open soon, and the large adjacent mega mall is expected to open around 2026–2027, which will make the area even more convenient for future guests.
Overall, Ascott Nanjing offered a comfortable stay with strong service."
"Great room. Great views. Great location. Great service. Great housekeeping. With 400+ rooms, nothing was too hard for the team here. Every need was met instantly with a smile. Loved our 5 days stay here. Thank you Intercontinental Nanjing Team for a memorable stay. We will definitely be back. "
"Like the hotel staff and the shopping mall near the hotel. Not too far from the subway station and has a Starbucks coffee shop close by. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn’t have a laundry facility but on the Expedia website says it has. So it’s misleading to me because I was expecting to do laundry when I arrived. "
