Nantes a wonderful city with such tasty food. La Perouse is centrally located near so many good restaurants and right across from a tram stop. The rooms are small but adequate, and breakfast was very good.

Modern hotel in a central Nantes location
One-night stay in Nantes in this immaculately clean and very comfortable hotel. Staff exceptionally helpful, and the location is right at a central transit stop to easily connect to other parts of the city. Excellent boulangerie next door, and the charming Japanese garden on the Ile de Versailles is only a 10-minute walk north. Merci beaucoup for a pleasurable stay.

Shameful attitude
Totally unsympathetic hotel. Our dog is seriously ill so we can't travel and it's not covered by insurance. Paid for 2 nights and management are totally not prepared to refund - not even a part refund. They just want to keep the money, having to provide no service and being able to earn twice on the room. Shameful.

Great family stay
Really well situated hotel in the centre of Nantes. Happy and helpful staff. We had an issue with one room on arrival and quickly moved to another suitable one.

This hotel is perfectly centrally located in Nantes and we found it very easy to nip back to when we were out and about. The staff are very helpful. Unfortunately, the bed was not a queen bed it was just 2 very hard single beds pushed together. The toilet is not sound proof but the actual bathroom was new and nice. Breakfast at 16 euros each is too much so we just went out to eat every morning. Located right across the road from a small supermarket. We would stay again for convenience to the locale but not as a favourite hotel.

Very nice and central hotel. Comfortable beds and great bathroom (loved the products and the bathrobes!). We had trouble making the AC work (the front desk explained how to turn it on, but it never really cooled the room). Central location with lots of shops and restaurants around.

First off, THERE IS NO free parking and this was one reason we booked two rooms for two nights. Second, the air conditioning would not work below 22 Celsius.

We are sorry our hotel was not exactly what you expected. We do not have private parking, indeed. The closest parking garage, "Bretagne" is 150 metres from us. It costs around 18€ the 24 hours. We will be glad to welcome you, once again :) Best regards,

AirCon didn't work then tried to blame us. Told us to come back in a few hours. We returned, were told it had been fixed, which is clearly hadn't. Then offered us another room, also with faulty AC. Required moving hotel, with a small child at 9.30pm. Had to pay for own taxi. As we were leaving we were told that there was a hotel-wide AC issue - ok, that happens, but tell us that at 1400 when we arrive (during the hottest week on record in France) don't make us hang about for 7 hours to discover it from another guest.

Arty with an exceptional location! Amazing staff
Lovely arty hotel, comfortable bed and pillows. Shower pressure could be a bit better in room 703 in the loft. Beautiful views and heating is great. Modern design and display. Fantastic service! The staff are amazing! Location is perfect! So close to all the sights and tram and great restaurants. Best location. Robes and body oil, moisturiser, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc in room and even slippers. We asked for wine glasses at reception. Cosy!

Really liked the ambience of this uniquely designed hotel. Clean and fresh, very friendly staff. It's on the edge of the pedestrians-only old city and an easy walk to a multitude of restaurants and the Château. Breakfast was a good continental. Public pay parking is nearby at the Tour Bretagne, about 5 minutes walk.

Central hotel close to attractions and restaurants
Numerous and wide choice of restaurants in easy walking distance. Hotel has many interesting architectural details and internal furniture and fittings. Close to secure parking. Saturday broccante close by and well worth a visit. Very enjoyable short stay.

Right in the city centre with Place du Cirque tramway stop outside, along with bus stops. Stylish decor, very friendly staff with many languages spoken. Breakfast very comprehensive (buffet or a la carte) and reasonably priced. Our room had a fridge, which was useful, and staff put two bottles of mineral water in it every day (free). Nantes was very hot the week we were there and the hotel did not seem to have air conditioning as the room was incredibly hot most of the time. Overall, the stay was great.

Nice stay in Nantes
Lovely hotel. Located in the city centre. Minor complaints. 1 room did not have a soap/shower gel dispenser. The other room had a toilet brush left in the toilet. Free tea and coffee, and you could make your own tea bag. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Slightly over priced for what is offered, but would recommend.

I am staying here now. 2 nights are left out of 4. Although my stay is not finished, I want to write about this impressive hotel. (I just realized that this review is my first one in HOTEL.COM) I have traveled so many cities in Europe and USA for business. When planning for a visit to foreign countries, it has been always hard to choose a hotel. This hotel is so nice so far, which has a good location, good service quality, room quality, and so on... I am saying so considering its price. (Of course I had stayed several top class hotels, but they are SUPPOSED TO BE good, considering their 'top class' price. ) I guess this hotel impressed me so much because of the staffs, who are very professional and willing to help. i.e. this morning madam manager told me that the public transportation was on strike and gave me several informations. Overally, this hotel is quite good and if I visit Nantes again, I will choose this one again. * One thing unconfortable: the control for HVAC is not convenient. It may take several hours to figure out how to use it. But this (old HVAC systems) is common in most of the hotels in Europe.

Exhilarating stay in Nantes!
This was one of our best finds on hotels.com! The decor is extremely artistically tech and the rooms are efficient and comfortable. Many aspects of this hotel could earn it a 5 star rating without the pretensious attitude!
