Fresh and comfortable accomodation with excellent shower. Top class food both dinner and breakfast . Staff are very pleasant and helpful. I stay around Nantwich/Crewe frequently and this is one of the very best accomodations available for the area and at a sensible price. Accomodation may not be suitable for those requiring special access , best check first. Very pleasant and relaxing stay. Thank you the team. I will be back.
Another great stay at the Badger, have been 5/6 times before and it’s never any different, always a lovely charming stay with excellent service as always.
External impressions were excellent, obviously well kept. Staff made me feel immediately welcome. Room was excellent with a comfy fresh bed.
All I would say as a downside is that bar noise is noticeable.
Food was very good and the evening bar and waiting staff were polite efficient and on the ball.
A quaint country retreat with a lovely outside area and an excellent restaurant. Our visit coincided with the hottest days of the year which meant we had to sleep with the windows open. Our room `The Bells` was at the front of the property which was on a main road which was surprisingly busy from 6.30 am onwards. The windows had thick double glazing and I am sure if we had been able to close them it wouldn`t have been an issue. Next time we go we will ask for a room facing the back!
As always, a fantastic service, and we got upgraded to the Jacuzzi suite! Great food, friendly staff, and very clean rooms! This is my third stay, and I’ll always return!
After a long drive and days work, I was over the moon to hear on check in that I'd been given a free upgrade to the Badger suite. Rooms were clean and comfortable (the suite is huge!).
Staff really friendly. Great food menu and the food was delicious, clearly a popular place to dine. Breakfast in the morning was also yummy. Would definitely stay again.
Another great stay at The Badger, this will be our 5 or 6 stay at the Badger in the last 4 year, every time it’s the same, warm and friendly, great food, nice clean rooms and lovely staff. Keep up the good work
Arrived late in the evening and was delighted to hear I had a free upgrade which was a massive room with a full size jacuzzi at the end of the bed. Restaurant is ace too really high quality food and service.
Very friendly with a warm welcome. No hot bar food after 9pm was a shame so we made do with the cheese board instead. Bathroom tiny. I suspect since we were a late arrival we got the smallest room available that weekend - others looked bigger.
Inn was lovely in a very nice part of Cheshire, only downside was occasional cars through the night speeding, a very quiet village who are putting in restrictions for a lower speed limit. We would go back rooms are very nice and clean, modern, food was delicious, staff very helpful and friendly.
Fantastic stay; bedroom was clean and comfortable, food excellent at dinner and breakfast, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Beer was really good too! Overall it was extraordinary value for money.
stayed at the badger inn for one night for a break away. the inn is a pub / restaurant has a beer garden and 5 guest rooms. our room was lovely size and spotless had the comfiest sleep ever. Ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was amazing. huge portion that i couldnt manage and took away with us, breakfast in the morning was spot on couldnt fault a thing it was delicious and all the staff were lovely and pleasant. definitely a little gem of a place and will definitely return.
This was the second time I stayed at The Badger and it will not be the last.
I was here on business as my Head Office is in Nantwich but I would love to bring my family here.
The rooms are very spacious and well decorated, the bed very comfortable. the food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff very helpful
I went for a run on my first visit and there is a lovely river path just up the road that was perfect
Needed somewhere to stay in a hurry and booked hoping would be OK. All I can say is the website didn't do it justice. It was so much better than expected as it has been refurbished recently.
Room was immaculate, and the bed very comfortable.
The shower cubicle was very large and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water. The only downside ( being slightly picky), the toilet and sink were very cramped near the door, so if you are a person of larger proportions it could be a bit of a squeeze.
Plenty of choice for dinner and breakfast, and well cooked.
Lovely staff.
Would stop again.
A very good place to stay. Our bedroom was called the plough. Soon discovered that the wall heater was very efficient and kept the room very a very cosy temperature for the whole of our stay. The bathroom towel hater was already on and the bathroom was very warm. Just right in the cold rainy weather. The King size bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and professional The bar area retains some of the original features which add to the charm of the inn. We do recommend staying here when on a visit to the local area. Bar food and breakfast excellent.
