"Excellent place. Great free drinks and snacks in the lobby. The staff were awesome. Breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast - very filling and varied daily. The twin room was a bit small and the mattresses a bit firm but that was the only downside. Would come here again. "
"I liked that there was free parking 5 min away as hotel is near to the free parking at the train station. Parking at hotel itself runs out fast. The twin room is pretty big and location is very central"
"Stayed 4 nights, beside being good at location, reasonable price; service was superb. My luggage delivery was challenging when I had to recall it back all the way from Aomori due to tsunami- earthquake alert, and the staff were very patient, took the trouble to call Yamato to ensure my luggages was safely sent back.
Thanks to a gentleman staff (4/20) who find me a good rroom rate to extend extra day and make 1st call to Yamato, and Ms Sato San (4/23) who again called to check when my luggage didn't turn up on time. Much appreciated!! Will definitely come back again."
"We tried both Japanese room and western room and both are good but we preferred the latter. We also love having snacks and drinks in the lounge area and it’s free. I don’t drink alcohol but my family members do and they love it. The onsen is also good."
"Typical Toyoko hotel chain- clean, quiet, comfortable and at a relatively good location near enough the train station. It also comes with free breakfast which is very appreciated. There is a reasonably priced 24h MaxValu supermarket across the road for your convenience.
My only gripe is there is only 1 elevator serving 11 floors. The wait times can get very long during check-in and breakfast hours. My room was on the second floor and they sensibly unlocked the escape stairs for guests to use during breakfast hours. However, it is locked all other times and the only way up/down to/from your room is the lift."
