"Amazing place, clean rooms, great breakfast, close to downtown Napa and excellent service from staff"

"I had to cancel my stay at The Meritage Resort and Spa due to an unexpected medical situation involving my wife. I contacted Expedia support on the day of check-in and was informed that my case could be reviewed if I provided documentation. After submitting the requested note, the reservation was ultimately marked as a no-show and no refund was approved because the cancellation window had passed. I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but the process was frustrating and gave me the impression there might be flexibility for medical circumstances when there ultimately was not. Future guests should carefully review the cancellation terms and not assume exceptions will be made, even in emergency situations."

Which is very hard to find hotels? That'll take animals and everything is outrageously expensive. So Hampton inns is really simple. Nice rooms, quiet, good staff, decent breakfast. You know, in the morning and we'll stay there again"

The location was walkable to downtown and provided easy access to highway and wineries. Our rooms were large and comfortable. The bathroom was very dated. It could have used a more detailed cleaning."
