Hidden gem in Napoli!

Hidden gem in Napoli! 😍 We are so glad we chose Cellamare- we had the room on the second floor with balcony and jacuzzi, and it was the best hotel I have tried in Italy yet! The staff is very friendly and helpful, always available in case of something! The room is big and much nicer and higher standard than others! The location is also PERFECT - I honestly don’t have anything bad to say! Definitely choose Cellamare for your next Napoli stay 😍😍😍

Hotel is advertised as Suite & Spa, Spa was used as a storage room and unavailable for use (probably just as well considering the smell), loud music from the flats above every morning. Not even a kettle in the room. I would suggest changing name to Cellamare Hostel! Strongly recommend to stay away.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE. We were treated extremely poorly from the moment we checked in, as we were locked out of the apartment. Luckily, we managed to find a neighbor who was able to call a number and let us speak to the staff. Furthermore, on the day of checkout, we left 100 euros aside to catch the train and when we went back to get our bags, we realized that the money was gone. In addition, a branded lipstick that we had bought the night before was also missing. The owners were not complacent about the situation and only acted when we told them to call the police.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut, da Nah zum Zentrum und zum Wasser. Leider gab es ein wenig hin und her zum Check-In und Check-Out, was nicht hätte sein müssen (kurzfristige Änderungen bzgl. Uhrzeit). Aufgrund der Lage und schlechter Isolation der Fenster ist es recht laut. Das Zimmer war nur oberflächlich sauber, manches fehlte bzw. war kaputt (kein Vorleger für die Dusche, keine Halterung für Toilettenpapier, Kopfkissenbezüge wurden noch gebracht als das Zimmer eig. schon "fertig" war). Overall war es für eine Nacht in Ordnung, würde es aber nicht noch einmal buchen.
