I was very displeased with this property. I booked it based on the IHG Clean promise which states:
With the IHG® Clean Promise, guests are reassured that: Good isn’t good enough – we’re committed to high levels of cleanliness. That means clean, well maintained, clutter free rooms that meet our standards. If this isn’t what you find when you check-in then we promise to make it right.
Well they don’t seem to stand by that promise.
The room smelled, the rug was dirty, there were exposed screws in the wall next to the headboard, mold in the shower. The shower would randomly get scolding hot without you adjusting it and the toilet didn’t always flush.
I didn’t have time to speak to management about it since we got to the hotel late and I had to leave the hotel at 4am for an early flight.
I decided to try to ask for compensation through hotels.com but they said they couldn’t do anything because management wouldn’t respond to my request. When they finally reached management, they were told that none of what I said was true. Well I have mold pictures and dirty shower pictures to prove it.
Also, I tried to give them an opportunity to compensate me and right their wrong before writing this review by contacting the hotel directly by emailing the email address on their site and they never replied back.
