The property is in a great location right at the edge of the historical centre. It's walking distance to a lot of the main sites and lots of bars/restaurants. The room was clean and quite large, generally very quiet too as the property is accessed by going through a courtyard as opposed to directly facing the street. There's a small breakfast included which is in a bar across the street.

Great B&B in the heart of Naples

I was very lucky, the place is spotless, well decorated, very fresh. Antonella and Francesco were very attentive and helpful. The location is perfect in the heart of town but in a quiet area, you can walk to nice restaurants and bars. The metro is also super close by.

Great location, friendly service. Things to note: Elevator is accessible with a fee, The bathroom shower needed some upgrading and was fairly small, there isnt someone at the front desk at all times (some solo travelers may book hotels expecting to have someone present, just an fyi that it isnt the case here). Overall a good stay!

We loved our stay at La Smorfia. The owner was very welcoming and a pleasure to speak to. He spoke very good English and even provided a map with restaurant and travel suggestions. The room was very clean with a nice view of the city. Thank you for a lovely stay in Naples.

Convienient and clean

This is a great place to stay a night or two. Very clean and spacious room. Antonella was amazing at check-in and provided some great recommendations and even gave me her number in case I had any other questions. The location is close to Spaccanapoli which was the main highlight of our visit. I wouldn’t recommend driving here as the streets are INSANE and the parking lot nearby charged us 40€ for less than 24 hours.

We enjoyed our stay at the BnB. Antonella was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were a bit shocked of the neighbourhood after coming from the centre of Rome and were surprised by the garbage in the streets. We soon got use to our surroundings and saw the beauty of the neighbourhood. The restaurants were fabulous and the little cafe where we got our morning breakfasts was lovely, and I highly recommend the brioche. We loved the convenience of the metro as we took day trips from Naples. We really felt immersed in the culture. As non-smokers, it was difficult to get used to the amount of secondhand smoke. Those who have asthma should be aware, and choose to eat indoors to avoid it. Thank you for a true cultural experience. ❤️🇮🇹

The Staff - Serena and Antonella (sorry if I spelled their names incorrectly) - were super helpful and sweet. The room was pretty basic, but clean. Some areas of the room should be repainted. The one thing that I was unaware of was that you had to use a small elevator to get up to the hotel (which is more like a B&B or upscale hostel), where only one person can bring up the luggage AND you need to pay 0.50 Euros for each ride. The bed was uncomfortable and the room needs another set of pillows,so that each person has two pillows. This property was good for one night and for the price, but unfortunately, I will not go back to this property the next time I am in Napoli.

This property is in a perfect location. It is walking distance to the old city, stores and restaurants. We were able to sign up for a food tour that started about one block from the B & B. The breakfast, coffee, juice and a dessert was across the street in a small coffee bar and was included with the stay. The elevator is small, but there are stairs if you are like me and don't like elevators. The staff was friendly, and I felt that I was an actual "resident" of Naples after being at this property with my wife for 5 days.

Unfortunately one of the three rooms (three of us each with our own room) did not have working AC and it was hot so that was not great. Also, the elevator broke so we had to drag our bags down three flights of stairs. The elevator was very sketchy and you had to use coins to use it. The staff seemed nice but did not help to take bags down, was not able to fix the AC and we requested a taxi pick up and they were not able to do this successfully. It was quiet, clean and bed comfortable. I am mixed on whether I would refer anyone though.

Es un hotel con habitaciones ubicado en un Edificio muy Antiguo que no hace bien con las buenas condiciones del hotel y los cuartos. Edificio que hay que pagar por usar ascensor, estrecho y para un cuarto piso con equipaje no es bueno. Creo que el hotel podria Mostar mas esto en su perfil. Desayuno es en una cafeteria a 50 mts, pero todo esto es mejor colocarlo en la oferta. EN mi caso estas sorpresas no suman para un impacto positivo y resta valor a todo lo bueno de las habitaciones.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage, die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr nett und sehr bemüht. Das Zimmer ist grundsätzlich schön, leider war das Bett ziemlich unbequem und relativ klein. Das Zimmer hätte sauberer sein können bzw. die tägliche Reinigung ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das Frühstück gibt es in einem Café gegenüber, das ist typisch italienisch aber lecker.

Bra beliggenhet i gamlebyen og nær Metroen. Fine og store rom med fint bad. Aircondition og kjøleskap. Frokostkuponger til cafeen ved siden av med standard kaffe, juice og croissant til frokost. God service da vi kom med forklaring hvor vi burde gå, spise, etc. Flott opphold👍

Very basic accommodation. Bed was too hard and (only) 2 very flat pillows were provided. Have to pay to use the very tiny elevator (rooms are on the 4th floor) and I don't remember that being mentioned in the description before booking. Old building (which is expected) had a hard time with preventing noise. Limited breakfast "provided" at a nearby cafe. Like most hotel rooms in older Italian buildings I've stayed in, there wasn't an interior lock to prevent others entering. There wasn't a Do Not Disturb sign that could be used. Housekeeping tried to enter while I was there without knocking first. I didn't feel safe that someone couldn't just come in.

Nice Stay

This was a very good choice. It is a very short walk to the Archeology museum as well as the metro. A short metro ride to the train station for easy access to Herculaneum and Caserta Palace. There are many cafes, restaurants and bakeries in the area. The room was clean and bright. The staff were super helpful and we were able to store our luggage on the last day before we departed for our late train to Rome. The bed and pillows were very firm and our room faced the busy, noisy street which caused us some grief when we were trying to sleep.
