Lovely hotel but not a great area, especially at night. Room was clean and comfortable, communal areas all good. Only blight was the incredibly rude bar man at the pool bar when getting an expensive gin and tonic. Don’t bother going to that bar!

Beautiful hotel

Palazzo Firenze is a beautiful property located centrally in Naples. Excellent staff and beautiful rooms. The breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Albeit payment was to be made at the hotel, the hotel reserved a third of the cost in advance from the account which meant that it was not at my disposal for a number of days. Arrogant service in the front desk. Breakfast was good. Neighborhood was quite rough.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. The hotel is located in a pretty sketchy area, and the surrounding streets were filled with mountains of garbage.

Friendly and proactive staff, very helpful. A good and comfortable hotel, situated one street away from Piazza Garibaldi so very conveniently located for trains, coaches and airport bus, although the streets outside are a little sketchy. Room could have done with a little more storage space for clothes. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Amazing hotel in a terrible area

Hotel staff were fabulous. Warm, welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. The room itself was also very nice. Unfortunately it is not in a nice area. Did not feel safe walking around that part of Naples.

We would absolutely highly recommend this hotel. When we first entered the lobby the GM of the hotel greeted us. The decor was clean and very tasteful. We checked in our room and it had great tech tools and newly renovated with an amazing view of the ocean! Then the hotel owner made reservations for us for dinner at a local restaurant La Corte Degli (which was amazing) and he even drove us to the restaurant! Breakfast was also amazing with wonderful views and homemade food. We'd definitely recommend and would love to go back soon!

Clean hotel in a bad neighborhood

This hotel is about a 5 min walk from Naples Central train station. Having traveled to many countries in Europe, the area around the station was by far the scariest and dirtiest. This atmosphere holds true for the neighborhood around the hotel -- police were readily patrolling the area. The good: the hotel is clean and has a great breakfast. The staff was nice, moving us to a quieter courtyard room due to the noisy street. I would not come here again, solely due to the area. If you don't mind the shady area, this is a great train station hotel in which to stay.

The rooms are big and quiet in a bustling city. Staff amazing, especially Salvatore the bartender on the roof. This is an area near the Garibaldi station, so close to transportation. The only thing I didn’t like was the neighborhood.

Extremily dangerous with police in front of the hotel when arrived the migration crisis is really alive in this, my car window was broken in front of the hotel and the front desk told me that was fine parking in front of the hotel

The actual hotel was very nice, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was decent if it’s included in your rate, I wouldn’t pay extra for it. What was annoying was having to turn in your room key (and the room safe key) when you leave the hotel, so you have to wait in line coming and going every time. The room safe was teeny tiny about a 6” cube, so couldn’t fit in our ipads or anything of that size. Finally, the area is not great. Homeless sleeping nearby, immigrants selling what looks like flea market items nightly. One night when we were coming home from Toledo we asked a military officer about the metro, which was shut down for some reason. He told us that we should take the bus and not go on foot. We wondered if it was because it was too far or not safe. There was only one night where my wife felt unsafe walking in the neighborhood but we were usually back before 10 pm.

Very clean and well kept property

It was overall a good experience. From the time we checked in, Mauricio was very helpful and the front desk people were very helpful to us. Bartenders and breakfast servers was very friendly and helpful. However, there was one guy named, Francesco (front desk) who was not friendly and won’t even look at you. We saw him on the 2nd day we were asking for our keys but he didn’t smile or look but almost threw the keys to us. We thought he was just having a bad day but the next and the following days he was looking very pissed even to other guests. We thought he is in the wrong industry working. We know how the other workers or the company in general would be affected with one single bad review. We value how the hotel is keeping its quality and cleanliness despite the location which is a very chaotic outside. I still feel that the hotel deserves a 4 star rating even with the bad experience with Francesco. Thank you again for the warm hospitality.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and plenty of options. My only complaints about the property are that it's in a little bit of a rough area with a lot of people on the streets nearby and we didn't really feel safe walking around. The room was nice (though you have to leave your keys at the front desk when leaving the hotel to go out due to heavy reports of pick-pockets nearby). We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay but we were on the 3rd floor above the street and the streets were loud! Honking, noisy cars until a little after midnight made it a little tough to sleep. In Rome, we were in a similar hotel where they had metal shutters that were controlled with a button and would close over the window shutting out all the ambient sound. Could definitely have used this here!

This hotel is what you call a Diamond in the rough. It’s a 5-minute walk from Napoli Centrale train station. The neighbourhood is a little more chaotic than the inner part of the city nonetheless, the hotel is cute, updated and modern in it's own way. There is a great breakfast included that was delicious and had nice options. BUT the biggest downfall was that I found a cockroach in my room during the night. When I advised the front desk no one was phased they said it happens due to the hot weather and then went about to tell me that it’s normal to find these bugs due to the construction of the building … ANYWAYS none the less no compensation was offered nor a room change. Let this serve as a reminder not to leave your luggage open or on the floor and place a towel at the gap of your front to avoid any little intruders.
