Room was clean but shower leaked. Informed staff, maintenence fellow came by right away and after looking at it said he jad to order a part. We went a week with the shower flooding the floor. It wasn't fixed while we were there.Otherwise everything was fine. Location isn't by a lot of shops but within a good walking distance.

Room appears to have been renovated a year or more ago. Marble floors throughout, 2 windows, strong shower. VERY comfy bed. Lovely staff- the room was made up daily, flawlessly. The breakfast buffet is quite nice and the wait staff is very helpful. Naples is not for the faint hearted. Villa Elisio is a secure, friendly, hotel located in the heart of quintessential Naples. It is a safe haven. The staff recommendation of Taverna Luciana restaurant is a major win ♥️ Easily walkable, the food is a religious experience, reservation required for supper. If you like the Rick Steve’s’ audio tours,Villa Elisio is practically on the trail for the Naples tour - About 5-10 walking minutes from the Archeological Museum starting point.

The room was very clean and the bed was fine (a little firm). They had parking in front which is what we needed for an early rental car return to the airport. There was a free breakfast but we left at 3am, so I can't comment on that! It is close to the airport. I can't offer information about the area because we only stayed for sleep.

Location is far away from any atractions. Elevator was broken and our roo. Was at 3rd floor. Lack of shelf space in bathroom. Black mod around bathtub edge and windowsill. Forgot to provide us tissue papaer and condotioner for 1st day. We asked for another chair but never delivered to our room. The breakfast is way below average in Italy. We asked fro t desk to book us a taxi to Sorento when we checked out. She made the call and told us €140 and we agreed. After the taxi driver drove us out, he asked for €160. My husband negociated with him for €150 in cash and he agreed. This driver does not know how to use GPS and when he near Sorrento, he stopped many times to ask for directions. When he finally drop us off at the main square(not our our hotel), he demanded €200. My husband took out wallet and gave him €150. He grabed another €50 from my husband's hand. I wanted to call police but my husband worried that the taxi company and the driver related to gangster. The hotel staff totally let us down. We expected they would get us a reliable and professional driver. But she got us a guy who does not know how to use GPS and robbed money from us.

The hotel is quite a bit of distance to walk from most places you want to go. The area is high in traffic and noisy but not as noisy as closer in. The bathrooms smelled musty. Everything was clean, breakfast was ok, the staff friendly. Could use some freshing up, some curtains were not hung correctly in the hallways and outdoor patio area is lacking in furniture and what is there is mostly broken.

Staff is friendly and kind. They’re the good part. Overall not a terrible stay but for what they’re charging this place is lacking significantly. No slippers or robes in room, bed is firm as a rock and cheap, pillows are huge and firm, not comfortable at all. Felt like what you'd probably find at a motel. No coffee machine in room either. Furniture is dated and there is a lot of repair issues in this hotel. Multiple times they asked me to allow a repair person in my room for issues taking place in other guests room. And while I refused to let anyone in my room they asked again. Imagine that inconvenience, while on vacation. It’s also about a 35 minute walk away from the central/ key areas. There is nothing special at all about this stay. I would not come back.

We were very impressed with the housekeeping staff who cleaned our room at any time of the day and left us with towels, soaps and a very clean bath! We were vety impressed with the efficiency of Francisco the breakfast room attendant. He knew our needs and looked after us with enthusiasm and a big smile. The location was great, too!
