"Booked ocean-view double room for Mom’s birthday; got downgraded on arrival. Promised move next morning—never happened. Chased front desk; one staff brushed me off, but a helpful young lady gave partial refund + breakfast voucher.
Arranged birthday room decoration while we were out 4+ hours—returned to nothing done. Housekeeping said they thought we were switching rooms (despite confirmation we’d stay). Total miscommunication chaos.
One staff member tried hard to fix it, but overall very disappointing for a special occasion."

"The hotel is well located in the city near almost everything. Staff are really polite except one man with a possible one eye injury from the front desk and one young lady who is not soft talking to people from the bar.
If you are just looking for a place to lay down your body know that it is just that but don’t expect more. The bathing place is extremely small and your body will touch the curtain. Toilet 🚽 does flow well. Breakfast is very poor (Slice breads, Boiled eggs, slice oranges,but very good coffee and cream."

"We had such a great time. Clean rooms, great staff always available to help. Dinning areas all nice and clean with pretty good food. Work always being done to keep the place staying nice. "

"Restaurants Katsuya , Leola , Cleo, Marcus and Carna had excellent food and exceptional service. Unfortunately,Sugar Factory and 25 North had terrible service and food.
Rooms used to have a fully stocked bar fridge and bottled water. Now they don’t and only have refillable water bottles to fill to fill with tap water that doesn’t taste good.
The rooms were cleaned for the first few days and then were not.
We’ve stayed at this resort many times but it seems that some areas have declined.
Not sure if we would go back ."
