"The place is full of small, nice details that add up to an unforgettable stay. The view of the ocean is amazing, along with the rainforest right out of the window which makes this place seem surreal. We will definitively return. The staff was incredibly polite, helpful and courteous."
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Lu. Despite some local infrastructure upgrades taking place, they honoured our booking and made us very welcome - Lucia was particularly helpful. The hotel is lovely - fantastic location right on the beach, and the rooms are large, clean and very well equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. "
"Casa Mandarina was amazing, I highly recommended the panorama room. We arrived after dark had a little trouble finding it- the Google Maps location leads you to a convenience shop Mazunte. We loved everything about charming San Augustinillo and Casa Mandriana. We were even pleasantly surprised with a mini fridge in our room."
"Amazing experience and service! A perfect place stay to feel secluded on a beautiful property and yet it’s easily accessible to the nearby towns and beaches by foot or taxi. Thank you to the whole team at Cocolia for hosting us so warmly. "
"Great location with easy access to the beach. Just keep in mind that reaching the rooms includes a bit of a steep walk if you have any walking disabilities."
"Like:
Comfortable bedding. Location was great. Checking staff was awesome. Bathroom was very spacious. Staff was amazing.
Didn't like:
Water pressure system very low. "
"This property was smack in the middle of the jungle with the most amazing views and passive environmental architecture. If you want a place that feels nice, comfortable, surrounded by the local community, and enjoy a hippie beach vibe, this hotel is for you. There’s lots of walking, but they can easily call cabs for you. The roads surrounding the property into town feel almost like a permanent Shakedown Street market at a Gratefu Dead show, but with the best tamales, mezcal, and ceviche of your...

"Wonderful hotel with incredible views from the suite loved it!
Relaxing in the swimming pool and hammock was such a delight. The ocean, views, birds singing is so enjoyable and relaxing wow! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind, if you want anything extra, you'll have to pay for it.
We tried some of the breakfast food it was just okay. You can definitely find something better outside, but be warned... it's super hot out there and there's no AC!"

The view from the infinity pool is one of the must stunning things I’ve ever seen!"
