"Big, comfortable room. Slept well on queen bed. Setting is pretty. Coffee and breakfast were good, served at 7. Cleaning and office were very good and hospitable. Would stay again for the value"
"The hotel had a great breakfast, prime location to the park loop and Cadillac Mountain. Has a great bus service to town and the pools are amazing. Rooms were roomy and we had an amazing view from our room. "

Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor - Acadia Natl Park by IHG
"Our girl's trip brought us to this adorable Inn for 3 nights. This is obviously an older building, but it has so much charm! There was comfortable wicker furniture with cushions outside our door so we could enjoy the patio in the evening. The hotel also has a market that you can walk to that serves an AMAZING lobster mac & cheese! They also do fresh, steamed lobster dinners on demand for much cheaper than you will pay in Bar Harbor.
The free continental breakfast included fresh baked muffins and a wide variety of flavored coffee creamers.
This is a very rural area, but this inn is a quick 15 minute drive to Bar Harbor, or a 5 minute drive to Seal Harbor.
My only complaint was that the room was a little stuffy at night (even with fans) because it was lacking A/C. But, I do know that the temperature was way hotter than normal during our visit. I am sure this is a very comfortable room in normal weather.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay!"
"Clean and conveniently located near the center of Bar Harbor. The manager, Tim, is fantastic. Very accommodating to any requests. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It’s close to Acadia and Tim will give tips on things to do and see if you ask him. We loved our stay here! Thanks, Tim! "
"A friendly, family run inn. Very typical of old Maine style with cute wallpaper, wood floors, and old Maine charm. If you are looking for modern luxury this isn’t for you. However, if you want a lovely inn with a ton of charm and a great price on the island, then you won’t find better than the Harbourside. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linens. It’s an easy walk to Northeast Harbor with excellent shopping and restaurants."
