"Lovely hotel and setting. Big room overlooking garden. Nice place to eat outside as well as inside. Good breakfast, reasonably priced. Right next to one of the gates which enable you to walk around the walls of Avila. I would say that it isn't necessarily the best hotel for a lie in. We were in 114 and from about 7 am it sounded as though someone was walking 5k in the room above, whilst also constructing furniture. It probably is the nature of the beast. Huge rooms that echo, gorgeous, shiny, tiled floors and due to the historic nature of the property, no sound proofing. Despite the above, I would definitely recommend this property and would happily revisit it."

"The only reason we did not give this a five star was because our AC was not working as normal. Overall, the hotel was excellent. The food was good. The staff in the buffet breakfast was very helpful and always maintained food items, hot and stocked. I would definitely come back to this place and hopefully soon."

"hotel is at historic plaza and so no parking there, one can unload luggage and then drive to underground pay parking about 5-6 min walk distance..."

"We stayed here 1 night when driving to Salamanca. Breakfast was good. Property is a little older but very well maintained/clean. Staff spoke English and was very helpful! Would stay here again."

"Great quality-price! The hotel is located in downtown Avila in a historical building. It does not have elevator. Breakfast is included, nice croissant and fresh toast with good coffee. Wifi works really well in rooms and public places."

"Limpio, solo sería de mucha ayuda que hubiera mejor comunicación con el anfitrión para hacer el check in después de las 21:00, ya que si por alguna razón llegas después de esa hora, no habrá nadie que te abra ni te responda, por suerte un vecina me ayudó a contactarlo."
