"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too. "This is a beautiful hotel built into the huge stone walls of Ávila. We were on our second visit here and it was even better as we had a room with the lovely fresh and health breakfast. Every staff member we met was friendly and very professional making our stay great. The parking is good easy to get to private onsite and open air, great for an suv driver. We love this hotel see you again next year. "
