Neath’shistory dates back to Roman times and there are a number of sites of historicalinterest that chart a rich and varied history from those early days, throughthe middle ages and the industrial revolution to the present day.

The Dulais ValleyHeritage Trail will take you, quite literally, on a walk through history, andyou can discover the tranquil splendour of the nearly 1000 year old ruins ofNeath Abbey. At Aberdulais Falls you can see the largest electricity-generatingwaterwheel in the UK, and it’s quite something to behold.

"Huge room - well and comfortably furnished Bathroom well equipped as was the tea/coffee facilities . Pleasant bar and breakfast (Continental only provided) was pretty good - although would benefit from more ambitions bread options rather than just sliced! Overall excellent and would recommend."
