"One of our nicest experiences with accommodation in Split, beautiful room, beautiful breakfast.
The location was perfect, in the old town with easy access to the Marina.
Our host was more than helpful - we would definitely return."

"Location is great but I had some issues with the room. Floor was sticky with floor cleaning solution, seems to be common in Croatia. Fridge did not work at all which is tough when you want some cold water in the heat and store snacks for long stays. Remotes with dead batteries. Light bulbs burned out. Host has strange rules, not client focused. With some improvements this could be a great stay. "

"Perfect location & close to the Riva, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Best espresso, cappuccino or flat white coffee you could ever ask for. Includes a wonderful breakfast plus a quality restaurant on the premises.
Rooms are very modern, well appointed,
Quiet and the best shower ever! We would most definitely stay there again without reservation and no need to look elsewhere. Two thumbs up.! JB"

"Nice enough hotel with access to a reasonably quite clean beach out back. Pros: Comfy rooms with beautiful views particularly at sunset. Good enough breakfast offering /Very pleasant and helpful reception staff at all times.
Cons!
- traffic too and from Split town heavy and long delays getting to and fro depending on time of travel! Though its a mere 5km journey!
- ludicrous rule by the hotel where one cannot sit on their terrace area down by the beach (owing to some “incomplete paperwork’” we were told- lots of seats sitting there redundant large sofas and tables and chairs for some 50+ persons yet we were reliably informed the police would be called if we sat there! Hard to fathom any logic here!
- be aware guests have to pay 20euro daily (for 2) for sun loungers (normally 40 euros). I would have thought this would be free for staying guests.
- breakfast food servicing good though somewhat spoilt by the consistently grumpy waitress working there daily - it was not just a bad day -it’s was 5 days in a row of such demeanour/ service! Definitely not a happy camper!
- elevator was out of service on day of arrival and again on day of departure! No fun when staying on level 1 and you access the beach via level -4! Lots of steps!"
"We loved Podstine Hotel. Great location near town but far enough that it is quiet and very private. The staff was very helpful, specially the waiters over breakfast and lunch, always answering our questions and giving us advise. The beach is pristine and very private. If we ever go back to Hvar, we would definitely stay here again."
"Absolutely amazing stay! My husband and I loved everything about this hotel. The location couldn't have been better—it's right in the center of everything, making it easy to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and attractions in Split.
The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. We were also welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch.
The rooftop was one of our favorite parts of the hotel. It has a small plunge pool that's perfect for sitting in and cooling off (it's not really meant for swimming), and the water felt amazing after spending the day exploring the city. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views.
We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Split. Highly recommend!"
"We stayed in Superior Room 21, and it was charming, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even preparing a bagged breakfast for our early morning flight. The hotel is also just a short walk to the promenade, making it a great location. We would gladly stay here again."
"Overall, the hotel was a good experience. However, we paid for a sea view room, and got to our room and the sea viewwas completely obstructed by trees. They should not ever consider that room as a sea view. We flagged this and they moved us, but only had a room with 2 beds that needed to be pushed together, which wasn't ideal and we still had trees in our way but it wasn't a complete obstruction. But we paid for a full sea view, not a partial one, which was disappointing.
The property is a little tired and needs to be power washed. The rooms were fine. The showers don't have doors, so water gets everywhere and soaks all the way over to the sink. A bath mat doesn't stand a chance, so don't put one down, it'll get completely soaked.
The pool isn't kept very warm. We learned that the European way is to say it's "refreshing" instead of "cold". Felt the same as the sea, to be honest.
The location is super walkable into town, which was great! The bedding was nice and soft and the beds were comfortable!
And the hotel sends a van down when each ferry lands and offers to take your luggage for you, which was super convenient!"
