Wonderful little place secluded from the town. A little difficult finding but totally worth it. Nice and friendly people who care. A little bit of a mosquito problem but that’s why there’s a net. Would stay again. :)

Da vi kom til hotellet ventet de på oss, bar bagasjen på rommet og var veldig velkomne. Vi fikk rom med eget bad selv om vi hadde bestilt med delt bad. I tillegg ordnet hotelleieren middag til oss på hotellet hvor vi kunne bestemme akkurat hva vi ville ha.

Unterkunft ist in einer sehr ruhingen Lage und beinhaltet einen Garten. Leider liegt diese ziemlich außerhalb der belebten Zone, wodurch man auf Tuktuks angewiesen ist.

Amazing Host

Great stay! I arrived very early at 5:30a due to change in travel plans. Dashin (sp) answered his phone, opened the gate, let me drop my bags, and use a bike until my room was ready He was constantly walking around catering to me and the other guests, who were from all over the world and all very friendly. The guesthouse is very spacious with plenty of places to relax and chat with fellow travelers. If ever in Negombo again, I'm definitely staying here!

Séjour décevant dans cet hôtel après Bali en avion

Je suis arrivé à presque minuit dans cet hôtel ou j'ai été accueilli chaleureusement Très belle villa d'aspect extérieur et intérieur. Malheureusement les meubles sont très anciens et donc vétustes et j'ai été très déçus par le confort de celui ci. De plus en voulant déplacer le ventilateur qui n'avait qu'un câble d'un mètre, j'ai fait disjoncter tout l'étage et comme j'étais dans le noir seulement 5 minutes après mon arrivée et qu'il n'y avait plus personne pour m'aider à rétablir le courant, j'étais en galère pour me déplacer dans le noir avec des toilettes et une salle de bain située à l'extérieure de ma chambre, un lit et un oreiller trop dure pour moi, des moustiques qui m'ont dévorés les pieds et les mains et des chiens qui ont aboyés toute la nuit et même dans la matinée. Par ailleurs cette villa est vraiment très isolée et il n'y a aucun commerce dans le secteur digne de ce nom et pour se rendre à la plage en taxi l faut payer 600 roupies aller et retour. Donc ce n'est pas l'idéal. J'avais apparemment la plus grande chambre, mais en sortant de celle ci je me suis cogné la tête car juste devant ma porte il y avait un escalier en colimaçon. Ce n'était vraiment pas mon jour. Les rideaux sont difficiles à manœuvrer et par ailleurs il ne dissimule vraiment pas le jour. Pas d'air conditionnée, de réfrigérateur et de téléviseur dans les chambres sauf une avec l'air conditionnée. Et sans électricité rien ne fonctionnait de toute manière. Je n'ai pu dormir que trois heures.

Nice budget hotel

Nice budget hotel with very friendly staff. Located outside Negombo and requires a tuk-tuk ride of 10 minutes. The nature in the garden(s) around the hotel is very beautiful with a lot of birds. Wifi was not working and rooms were not cleaned every day.

Great location for the airport

Great quiet old colonial house. The rooms are lovely. You have a choice of AC or fan/ Breakfast is included and is good. we found a reliable Tuk Tuk driver who lives behind the hotel and he took us to the city, railway station, a resturant and beach, only charged us 300R each time. He even took us to the airport. We stayed 4 nights in totally, 2 at the beginning of our trip 2 at the end. The only down side is that its not close enough to walk anywhere

Exceptional Guest house

We stayed here for 4 nights on our tandem bike adventure in early 2017. The guest house is in a very quiet spot away from the dusty commercialism of the beach area. The manager works tirelessly (day and night!) to make sure his guests get everything they need. The charming lady in charge of house keeping is also worthy of high praise for keeping the place spotlessly clean and providing an excellent breakfast. Many of the rooms are very large by SL standards and even the Wifi works well and is not restricted in speed as is so often the case in SL. Although a little off the beaten track they do offer free bikes to get you down to the town etc. Even the dog is nice and doesn't spend all night barking as in some places. It really is as nice as the pictures suggest!

Good stopover.

A really good place to stay. We stayed for 1 night before getting to the airport in the early morning. The manager was hugely helpful and even arranged the tuk tuk to town (at a very reasonable price) and the taxi to the airport (again, very reasonable). The hotel is in good condition and the rooms were clean and well presented. I couldn't ask for any more really.
