Our family of three had a great stay. Plenty of space for everyone, convenient location and kind staff. My child specially liked the pool. Would stay here again.

Island Leisure Resort exceeded my expectations in every way. The spacious room provided a comfortable retreat, and the kitchen facilities were ideal for preparing meals. The common areas were impeccably clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The reception staff were not only lovely but also incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth late check-in process from start to finish. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this resort for a relaxing getaway.

Great place to stay.
Nice place to stay. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and cafes. Beach practically just out the front. Nice pool and bbq area. Spacious bungalow with a kitchenette.

I was told that we would have a bottle of wine for our room which never occurred and when the hotel said i had an upgraded room that off-loaded that request, i didn't understand their comment since the room i requested was the room that I received other than it being handicap accessible that i don't feel is an upgraded room. It's more of an awkward room since the shower and the sink was in the same room so no one wanted to shower at the same time as getting ready in the am at the sink.

Cannot rate this place highly enough! The location is everything. Rooms are clean, spacious and cool. We extended our trip due to the magic of the island and wonderful accommodation - it was no trouble for the friendly staff. We will be back!

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were full of knowledge of the local area, and provided some excellent suggestions of what we could do - especially as we were only there for a very short stay. The accommodation itself was lovely. The amenities include washing and drying facilities which was helpful for us backpacking. The pool was great for cooling off in the heat! I only wish we had booked to stay for longer!

What a Great Place to Stay
We had the best holiday on Magnetic Island and our Accommodation was Fantastic. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. The Property is close to everything but in a Quiet street just a short walk from everything. There is a beach in one direction and a small Supermarket, Coffee shop and Chemist just around the corner. Forget the high priced upmarket Beach Front Condos If you want Clean and affordable accommodation I highly recommend Island Leisure Resort Nelly Bay Magnetic Island.

Gem of a place. Rooms were large, well appointed and clean. Staff was super friendly, offering helpful tips on the best places to snorkel and swim. Great family place with lots of things to keep everyone busy - pool table, ping pong, darts, games, books, etc. We were there as a couple and really enjoyed our stay.

northern winter escape.
Great property in a good location ,easy walk to bus which takes you anywhere on the island. Day or week ticket makes trips easy and affordable. Front desk staff excellent. Will recommend to all our friends.

Such a perfect spot close to the beach, supermarket and with a few restaurants nearby. The staff were absolutely fantastic, super friendly and helpful. Jenny made us feel so welcome and was happy to help with directions and recommendations for dinner nearby. The pool and games room were great to hang out in after a big day out on the water. Would definitely stay here again.
