It was amazing. The rooms were so comfortable and the host gave us treats & drinks. We went to a really nice restaurant that was also very very nice. We very much enjoyed ourselves.

The building itself is awesome- historical - you can feel the history in the floor boards. That part was amazing! Unfortunately, we didn’t know that 3 rooms share one bathroom. We also didn’t know that the food isn’t checked all that often, so there was some stuff that was moldy for breakfast. Also, we booked two rooms for 7 people, and our one room was rented to someone else, so we were forced to cram 7 people into one room with 2 beds for 2 nights. The proprietor was kind enough in allowing us to use his laundry and we ended up getting our money back for the 2nd room, but the combination of issues sullied the experience for us. Overall, if the proprietor had more help to keep up with the place, it would be great. He was more than kind in giving us a private tour of the attached museum from the closed train station, and that was a highlight. But between the food, the issue with overbooking and the fact that some of the surfaces were not clean, we ended up with a middling/negative experience. In the end, I think just knowing what to expect would have been helpful for us.

Good morning Marta , as we disgust be for you left the person that set up the web page and run the B&B dump this all on me this year . being i am not a computer person it's been a bit of a world wind . Getting back to over booking yes a room called a suite is much larger and may have another room . that well be changed on the web page . thank you for enlightening me . As fur as uncleaned areas the breakfast room & bath room are cleaned every day for cleanliness , bed rooms after each rental . i did try to do my best to make the miscommunication on both are parts in getting sleeping pads blankets pillow for the children . also thank you Marta for the $100.00 dollar Donation for the Museum . your welcome to visit a gain . False advertising on room
This train station bandb is not as advertised no tv and windows very difficult to close and open food and condiments not changed as often as they should be .pets were welcome I think but due to the closeness of rooms not a great idea as barking very loud in this space . The beds were the best part of this place very comfortable and bedding was fresh and clean. If you just need a place to sleep it just ok.

The 99 year old building can be a bit difficult in the warmer time of the day an the cooling in the evening window may stick a bit , i was more then happy to help you with the window sir. I just took over the B&B this year and was not aware of the advertisement saying wifi & tv was available it is not . thank you for enjoying the Nenana Depot biult in 1923
