"This stay is very close to shopping and restaurants. The beach is very nice for children and beginner snorkeling. Loved the beach front. I would stay here again"
"First timer to Maui and couldn’t have been happier. Great resort set-up with clean, updated vibe. Close proximity to Whalers Villlage and Kaanapali golf course was a bonus. Only downside was having to rent certain items from the activities desk (e.g Snorkel gear, Chairs on sand, etc). Overall, would visit again."
"SO HAPPY we stayed here. I looked at MANY resorts for our stay in Hawaii and landed on Hyatt because of the kid pool for our toddler. But it truly exceeded our expectation. We felt like we ere staying at an upscale resort for our budget. The property is STUNNING and we were given lays upon arrival and treated with such kindness our entire stay. The pools are amazing, the kiddie pool also had slides and splash pad that our daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms and our view (even selecting a mountain view) were AMAZING! The property is right on the beach and in walking distance to many other resorts, restaurants and local shopping which was super nice. We also loved the penguins and other birds and koi on the property as well as so many great shops restaurants and activities to do. My toddler also did the mermaid swim class and it was truly a core memory experience for her. We were so sad to leave at the end of our trip, we truly felt home and will be returning again in the near future."
"The property was a little dated but kept up well. They don’t provide housekeeping unless you are there a longer period of time so that wasn’t the best. By the end of our 4 days we could have used some housekeeping. The little outside bar they have is nice and offer happy hour deals 2 times a day. Overall a nice stay"
"Our family of 4 loved our time spent at the Royal Lahaina bungalows. We enjoyed the nightly LIVE music and the easy access to the pool and beach. Walking distance to the black rock was fast and a pleasant walk with our adventurous teens who enjoyed cliff jumping while I floated in the ocean. Highly recommend for families, the beach access directly from our hotel was unmatched. Calm waters, clear and feels like your own private beach."
"We loved this hotel. While it's not a classic 'on the beach' resort, beaches are close by and the overall setting is beautiful. We had one of the 'fire lanai' rooms which turned out to be a great choice. The staff was great too. Next time we go to Maui, we plan to stay here again!"
"The bed. Plan to have a back ache most of the nights . It was rough. Used the pull out to help the ache.
Besides that, it was nice . No maid service.
Plenty of glasses, utensils, pans, pots for two.
We did call half way though to refresh the room and they did a nice job.
If they got a new bed, and sitting furniture it would help . All is very worn ."
