"Beautifully situated hotel overlooking lake Albano offering excellent views. There is a seasonal rooftop outdoor pool as well as an inside pool/solarium. No restaurant for evening meals but well presented continental breakfast included. It's only a 10min walk to the charming old town with lots of restaurants and cafes etc. Also a short (but steep) walk to the train station. Unfortunately, there weren't many guests when we stayed and the hotel felt a little lacking in atmosphere. The main terrace and solarium areas were reserved for an event and not available to us during our stay. Our room window glazing panel was permanently steamed up obscuring the fabulous view and the rooftop pool appeared unfiltered and missing tiles. Overall, great location, friendly and attentive staff with magnificent views but needs a little maintenance here and there."

"Thw only problem we had was with the AC. We were there the first week of October and our rooms were warm. When we asked they told us it had not been turned on and they would do so. After going back and forth a few times we were told they just turned on the blower because in the โ€˜winterโ€™ they donโ€™t have AC. We did not have this issue traveling in Italy for over 25 days. It was strange and felt like they did not want to just tell us that from the beginning. Otherwise the hotel was lovely appointed."
